Howl & Growl
Good morning all! The administration and moderators have let us have a daily "howdy" thread. They are the BEST! Thank you!
Howl & Growl will be a "Sticky" at the top of the forum so we don't have to post a new thread daily, just build on the old one every day. It will work something like this: Good morning all! Just a quick hello to everyone before I have to go to work. I've got an ad coming out in the local Humane Society newletter that I have to proof. Then I've got to got buy some turquoise for a piece of jewelry I'm making. Cozy has to get a distemper shot tomorrow morning. She won't be very happy about that! Have a great day, everybody! Kit |

today is my day off....and I dont have class...so im doing NOTHING all day....well I gotta go pick up dog food actually...and birthday present for my fiance...then tonight he goes bowling.

Hey, guys! I'm working today. Well, sort of.
 I went to get new contact lenses Friday evening and had a COMPLETELY horrendous experience with them. They were supposed to be contacts that keep your eyes moisturized all the time. My eyes freaked out and I had a migraine headache all weekend. So yesterday morning I had to go back to the doc to get new PLAIN contacts. I have to go back this evening to make sure these will work. So far so good!!After the eye doc app, a friend is coming over to help me put up wallpaper border in my dining room and kitchen and hang some pictures and shelves. That is the last room I have left to decorate. I'll be happy when it's all done!  |

Today I am going to my friend's house to see how she is doing because I just found out they had to put their lab down yesterday.
 I'm gonna miss him...he was such a sweet boy. Hopefully I can get her mind off of it.  He was 11 years old. I know they are very sad. |

Afternoon for me..
Glad to see that Howl & Growl got off to a great start.. Great work all.
Mia had her shots yesterday. Kit, I hope Cozy does better that Mia did. She's been sick since last night. She seems to be doing better since I've got home.. She has her rabies shots in 2 weeks and we'll be done for a while.  I'll be glad. I went to pick up Puppy food for her yesterday and as my luck would go there out. Don't know exactly when they'll get it in. Hurricane have put the behind schedule. So I had to run here and there today to find some.. No luck. So, I'm changing food for the 2nd time. Chicken soup this time.. And the Feed store is much closer that the first one I bought from..  |

I'm just logging on for a quick 'hi' to you all, because in a couple minutes I have to leave for puppy class.. Nothing much went on today, lots of schoolwork and I brought my Psychology grade up to an A with my opinion paper.
 My friend is still living with us, she WAS going to handle Ripley in puppy class but today she didn't because she had to work, so poor Rip has to stay home.  Dad took some pictures of Dakota for me with his camera since mine isn't working the way I'd like it to. I'll post them tonight when I get back online. |

It's overcast here and nice.. 70s.. so i took the pugs to mcdonalds for a burger and we went to the city park. It's a treat for them that we do once in awhile. They love it.. I say "burger" and boy do they get excited LOL Silly Pugs.

Bailey and I went to the doggy park and petsmart today. We had to get out of the house. My husband has a cold, so of course the world came to a complete stop this weekend. He has the sniffles and sneezes and is taking every cold medecine you can buy and is now over medicated and groggy. After doing 4 loads of laundry, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, making him breakfast and lunch in bed so he can watch t.v., and fetching glasses of water, new tissue boxes, making him some popcorn,and picking up the remote off the floor because he dropped it and couldn't reach it....I had to get away!
We had a wonderful time at the park and Bailey played with two Beagles and the tiniest miniature poodle I ever saw. We ran through the woods and walked around the lake and played hide and seek in the tall grass in the fields. Then we went to Petsmart and I bought her a new ball to fetch. Now I am home and I just finished putting away the clean dishes, putting the dirty dishes (from the snacks my husband made himself while we were at the park) in the dish washer and making dinner (in bed again) for my husband. I wasn't hungry because I treated myself to DairyQueen while Bailey and I escaped from the house. |
