eeeweeee feel sick

We rely on tank water for our drinking and recently the top of our tank broke open so as it was still under warrenty we rang the manufacturers and they said they would come fix it.
My concern was for our water so I asked how do you save our supply???
They replied the pump it into a holding tank on their truck then when its fixed they transfer it.
To my utter dismay they couldnt bring the tanker in so this guy ( WHo I dont know from adam) had to get in the 7000 gallon tank and fix it from inside with my water still in it

I am mortified that means he had his backside in my drinking water
Now I know all the truths about tank water... the frogs the bird poop the rat stuff but hey I have lived with that all my life but a human body in my precious water I just cant bring myself to drink it. I even boil it for my Isabella

Just really grosses me out

When I was a baby I got very sick from well (tank) water. Something had gotten in it and being so young it hit me hard! I was in the hospital for a few days and severly dehydrated from it all.
So you have every right to worry.

That's terrible Linnie but very funny that you are boiling it for the dog as well. LOL!

did you ask if he had showered before he got in? i would have. at least you don't have the problem i have, we can't even drink our water. they put chlorine in it to kill some microbacteria. the chlorine almost killed my neighbors puppy. i saved the puppy by telling them what to do. our water is so bad that they put out fliers to tell us that it will kill babies and old people. cool huh?

Eagle as far as I am concerned he couldnt clean himself enough.
I agree with the things they add to water they are very dangerous
I have to take water for my dogs ( dog now ) when we go away as they cant and wont drink chlorinated water.
personally give me the natural stuff but preferably without human bodies in it

Yuck! I would be grossed out too Linnie. Did he at least take his shoes off? My husband just mentioned a few things that made me shiver....I can't even bring myself to type them. I am sure everyone else is thinking the same thing though!! Can you drain your tank and refill it? I wouldn't want some guy's hiney in my tank water! That seems very unsafe. I would feel better with chlorine added to the water now.

If I were you, I would call up the company, and explain that you were told your water would be put into a holding tank, and that when the repair guy got there , he didn't have the tank. I would also explain that he got INTO the tank , then I would demand they come out with a fresh supply of water, and have your tank serilized before they put in the new stuff.

Yuck is right! I think I'd rather drink from my dogs dish than having to drink water after a person was in it.
Isn't there something they can do or could have done to prevent that? I'd be buying bottled water for awhile!

Ewweee is right! I don’t blame you for feeling that way, though I get disgusted easily. I don’t even like seeing my waiter or waitress talking too much while holding my plate of food. I’m so scared that some spittle will fall in my food. (I know, it’s odd)

What’s even more odd is how I don’t get disgusted by my dog. Hubby is always saying how gross it is when I share my ice-cream cone with them or other kind of food.

I'd call the company too. Maybe the water system has a filter on it that you dont' even know about and everything is really just fine?!?!?
