Any Coronation Street fans? LOL

Sorry, I had to ask. This is probably the only show I've followed constantly throughout my life. Growing up in England, and spending so much time at my grandparents house, it became something I really enjoyed and loved to sit and watch with my Nan. I guess you could say I'm keeping in touch with my "roots"...hahaha.
I delayed posting this, because there are quite a few Brits on here, and you guys are WAY ahead of us here in Canada. So no telling about what's actually going on in the show OK!!! I avoid going to the website for that reason. I went once and it blew about 4months for me, I knew what was going to happen before I saw it, kinda wrecked it for me.
I do have one question though for any of you from the UK. How long does that Charlie/Shelley thing go on for? It's been going on FOREVER here, and it's getting really old now. Shelley is still hiding away in her room, and the therapist has just entered the scene. Is it almost over yet?? hahaha
And what about Schmichaell? Is he a gorgeous Great Dane or WHAT?!?! I loved that part a while back when Les and Csilla got the jacuzzi tub and the dog jumped in it to get some pizza. Was too funny when the floor gave out and the three of them ended up in the living room in the tub...HAHAHA.

Gawd that was ages ago Charlie is with someone else now (wont tell you who hehe).

It doesnt last too long after the therapist gets involved.
Schmichaell is gorgeous but its not the same dane now as the 1st one got diagnosed with wobblers and was replaced by a litter mate.
Sad but true.

Oh GOOD. Glad I don't have to take much more of that Charlie/Shelley crap...haha. That's really the only annoying thing going on right now.

And poor doggie I didn't know that.

Hahahaha Linnie!!
Yeah, when I first moved to Canada I don't remember it showing here either. It finally aired in a daytime slot (kind of a trial period), and got such great ratings that it got a slot in primetime!!! Woohoo!
So even though we're quite a bit behind, at least I can still follow along. The way it works here, it is on for a half hour every weekday, and for those of us who work during those hours, they air all 5 episodes on Sunday morining. When I work afternoons, I usually tape it on Sunday, then watch later in the day (so I can flick past those annoying commercials...haha).
