Dakota's growing up..
He's getting bigger, day by day. I looked at him a couple of days ago and said "HEY! Your legs are LONG!"
He was 18 pounds today when I weighed him. He's not going to be small anymore! Soon I'll have a 50lb puppy tearing through the house. ![]() |

Rip - he's gorgeous. And they do grow up so fast. I noticed the other day how much Boone has grown up. It's almost like he's not a puppy anymore, but a little man. It's almost upsetting, isn't it?!? LOL

Rip, he is so fluffy and adorable. No wonder you're freaking out that he's growing up so fast. He's about the cutest little puppy I've ever seen. His fur is gorgeous!
Lyric is my first dog that I was kind of eager to see grow up. LOL. He was such a monster puppy. And he grew fast too! Weekly I could notice a change, where as often when you live with dog and see them every day, you don't notice that change so much. He still acts like a puppy, but not so crazy. It's a little tempered down now. Well, it's great that you are taking lots of pictures. Very cute pup! |

I still regret not enjoying Missie's puppyhood as much as I could've. I don't have NEARLY enough pictures. I don't even remember most of it! |

He does have wonderful markings! Are you going to train him to herd and do competitions? We went to the big fair here in washington and we saw a beautiful Collie that looked almost excately like Dakota. He did a show for us and herded ducks. It was a great show and he could split the ducks into two groups and make each duck go through a tunnel and waddle up some steps into a baby pool. He had perfect control and his trainer would blow a whistle and get him to slow down or speed up and lie down. It was cool. They even had a 4 month old puppy try to herd the ducks to show that is was really instinct and breeding. The cute little pup did a great job all on his own.
