chihuahua goes on the big walk for animals

We were watching the news last night and part dealt with a yearly walk that people participate in to help others appreciate animals and raise money for rspca.
Huge amounts of dogs mostly large ..oh and the mad terrier lot as well

they walk forever.
The absolute cutest thing that made our day was this older couple that had a cage with wheels and a lead and inside the cage standing and watching as he was pulled along was a chihuahua

Gotta love that he was safe but doing his bit for animal welfare

Ahh... I was thinking about going on the Million Paws Walk but completely forgot, I've been so busy. I've never been on it before but have always wanted to. I'd have to leave Abby behind, though!

She'd attack all the other dogs!! Hmm.. I wonder why that Chihuahua was caged up? Haha

Love that story. We went on a similar walk this year. It was amazing. People were saying they couldn't believe our Chihuahua's were doing the whole walk without looking tired or being carried. I really got what Cesar Millan says about the power of the pack. He's right. My male confronts dogs, but I found that when they are side by side and not face to face he is overjoyed. I have never seen him so happy as when he was one with the pack.

Our animal shelter organizes a walk of their pups once a year. Area dogs re allowed to join in for a fee, but the whole idea is to get the dog owners of the areas to see what great dogs are available at the shelter. It was lots of fun, but I think we will bring our own shelter success pups this year
