Also you should wear conservative clothes, no holes in your jeans, t-shirts ect. Even if your only applying to clean kennels, the first impression you make is the only and you need to appear mature, even if you feel like your dressed like your grandma!
Have you tried in any neighboring towns? (if you have any!) Have you tried seasonal jobs such as a local farm, or golf course? These types of places tend to need extra workers during the summer. Where there is a will, there is a way! I can tell you love your dogs so I know you will make it!!

Umm actually it got ripped out....it hurt lol...but I never wore it when droppping off apps anyhow and I tend to dress casually in a black shirt and bluejeans. My tongue is pierced but I put in a clear bar for job stuff so it can't be seen. I'm thinking about calling up a vet here in town they also run a grooming place...maybe they might need some help...

I too use a long piece of rope for my recall lead. I think I paid about $2 for 50 feet of rope. And for treats I often use a small chunk of cheese or hot dog, my dogs work harder for them then dog treats.

my Isabellas favourite toy is an old pot plant lol Very cheap.
Also although a retractable lead is great we didnt always have them and our dogs still learnt how to lead.
As long as you can feed your dogs and love them and do the vet thing your dogs are fine

You've been given great ideas. I do hope that things will level out for you. I'm really sorry you're having a hard and stressful time right now. You're right. Just about everyone, at various times in their lives have rough spots. Just remember, it won't always be like this. Things will work out. Hang in there.

try putting an add in the paper, with some friends. i did this and it turned out great. we sold the buisness for $10K not to bad for three 18 year olds.
just place an add like:
we three teens, from local not far, are looking for riches. so we can buy us a car. then leave a phone ###
sing that to we three kings.

I'm sorry, this is completely off topic but I HAD to ask.

What exactly did you mean by "pot plant?"

'Cause my first thought was of your dog galloping around dragging an illegal plant.

Gave me something to laugh about...however things have gotten worse...I knew we were having money problems...what I didn't know is that our gas was being shut off because of it...I'm going absolutely bonkers...I just want to scream and cry and it just feels like I'm so alone right now.

Oh Geez, I am sorry.

This sure is a hard burden for you to bear. I know you have been working hard to make money, I hope your parents find jobs again soon too.

have they done everything? Have they gone to all the agencies and help available to find jobs? Is there anyone in your town that will help with utility money? Is there anything they can sell to pay the bill?

I feel bad you are carrying the burden for them.

Hang in there, things will clear up...we are all pulling for you!!!
