The first time I made this recipe my husband and three of my boys ate like hogs. Now when the boys come to visit they ask if I will make this.
HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 1lb. ground beef 3 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 pkg. brown gravy mix 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix 1 1/2 c. water 1pkg. (8 patties) reg.hash brown patties (Oneida) 1 pkg. mixed frozen vegetables 1/4 c. chopped onion (opt.) Preheat oven to 375 degree. Brown ground beef in pan with chopped onion. Mix gravy mix, soup mix and water in bowl and add to ground beef along with frozen vegetables. Let mixture come to a boil and cover. Line the botom of a casserole dish with the frozen hash brown patties. Spread 1 cup of cheese over top of hash browns. When vegetables are defrosted, mix 1 cup of cheese into mixture and let melt, then pour beef mixture on top of hash browns. Top with remaining cheese and bake, uncovered, in oven for 30 minutes. P |

Well, let's see... my son's favorite is Mushroom hamburgers.
I make the patties with bread crumbs and egg and seasoned salt then fry them as usual. Near the end I add a can of mushroom soup and flip flop the burgers in the sauce till warmed thoroughly. I usually serve it with mashed potatoes or on occassion with french fries and a tossed salad. He just loves it and will often eat 3 or 4 burgers... teenagers...they have hallow legs. ![]() |

This is a horrible topic... I am hungry right now and I can think of a million great recipies.
hhmmmmmmmm..... Oh I know. A spinach, mandrine salad. Spinach Mandrine Oranges (in a can) Mozza Cheese Shredded (use judgement) Balsamic Vinager (3 cap fulls approx.) Apple Cider Vinager (3 cap fulls approx.) That is for a big bowl If you are doing a small bowl add 1 cap full of both. Use your judgement if you think or don't think it's enough(for both big and small, basically add to taste). You just do not want it soaked or it has to strong of a flavour and is a bit iky. |

I'm hunnnngry too. I haven't eaten since yesterday... x.x Give this recipe a try sometime. My best friend and I came up with it after he had angered his wife on the phone... We made this and she loved it so much that she forgot why she was mad... LOL
Justin's Cheesy Stuffed Chicken Breasts Ingredients: 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed 1/2 c mozarella cheese, shredded 1/2 c cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 c parmesan cheese, shredded... or the stuff you get in the can that you sprinkle over spaghetti... that's fine too... lol salt and pepper oregano basil Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F In a bowl, mix together the cheeses and add the spices to taste... add however much you feel is necessary.. I love oregano, so I go a little heavy on it.. hehehe. Using a sharp knife, cut a pouch into each of the chicken breasts, fill them with the cheese mixture, and put them in a casserole dish of some sort... I prefer the glass ones.. Put a dab of butter over each chicken breast before putting them in the oven. Bake for about 50 minutes; it should come out nice and golden. ![]() I love to serve this over a bed of pasta with white sauce... Yummm! AND it makes great left overs ![]() My white sauce recipe still needs a little work, but it's pretty good, for what I've got. ![]() In a saucepan on low-medium heat, melt about a tablespoon of butter... Toss in a teaspoon or two of flour and mix up with a wire wisk... It should have a paste-like texture. Add in about a cup of milk and stir, stir, stir... You'll want all the lumps of flour to be gone, otherwise it won't taste good. :P As it heats up, it should start to thicken... Add in some spices to taste.. I like to use salt, pepper, garlic powder, italian seasoning, and a dash or two of grated parmesan cheese. Once it starts to thicken, though, reduce heat and keep stirring.. If it gets too thick, add a splash of milk to thin it out... the key is to keep stirring. Give it a quick taste to see if it needs anything.. If it doesn't, take it off the heat and mix with your noodles.. Everytime I make this, I always make waaay too much sauce, so I have to compensate and cook enough noodles for 4 people.. LOL. Also, I eyeball everything, so the measurements are a complete guess, but they should be close..Enjoy! --Justin |

I'll come back and let you know later on. I'm not sure what my favourite meal is. I'll have to think about that for a while. Cass. |
