Took the girls camping
We just had the most fun!!!
On thursday we packed up our camper and took Violet and Jasmine camping in a rustic campground surrounded by woods. They loved it.

We spent all day hiking in the woods, exploring, and then sitting in our lawn chair staring at the lake.

It was heaven. So quiet, so relaxing.

The girls loved it. For the first time ever we got them so tired I had to carry Violet back to the camp site.

They have been sleeping ever since we came home this afternoon.

This was Violet's first camping trip, and jasmine went a few times last summer.

they were so cute hiking along for miles on end. Jasmine stuck her nose in every single elk track we passed, like look mom, found another one. Violet spent hours chasing butterflies and jumping up trying to catch them.

both slept so great in the camper. In fact Jasmine was so tired yesterday she begged to go in around 4:00 and wouldn't even come out to potty last night.

Violet discovered the chase lounge lawn chair made a great bed and spent hours sleeping on that.

We had a blast!

It sure sounds like you tired those 2 out really good! Hey, maybe Violet will be too tired to bark for a few days and give your hubby a rest...LOL.

Actually, it's funny you say that, because she barely barked on the trip she was so tired, and hasn't barked today either.
....Guess I need to quit my job so I can walk the dogs more....LOl

That sounds like so much fun! I'm glad you were able to get away for awhile with the girls and hubby. Pooped those puppies out pretty good, too!

Sounds like the whole family had a great time! Camping is my absolute favorite type of vacation. I'm glad everything went so well and you had so much fun.

Sammy, I about died laughing at the thought of carrying a tired rottweiler.LOLOLOLOL Although Jasmine was pretty tired and probably would have let me if I could.


Poor violet, she would take a few steps then try to lay down, then take a few more. She was tired out. so many new smells, new sounds, plus exercise, plus never camping before. She got exhausted.

We really had a great time.
