Yes, Giselle came to me with not-so-greyt teeth and I have to keep it as pearly white as possible. Lucky, on the other hand, has surprisingly white teeth (suprising because he eats kibble and came from a byb).

i sometimes do.. he doesnt like the actual brushing motion, but he does love his tooth paste
he thinks it is a treat.. i figure as long as i get SOME in his mouth, it is better than none. |

Yes, at least twice a week, and he gets a treat that is designed to clean his teeth everyday. I do schutzhund training with him, having dirty teeth is highly frowed upon.

i have a new older cat i adopted with disgusting teeth. i am seeing if i can get him onto raw and help his teeth before i send him in for a dental. the raw diet makes my life infinitely simpler ![]() |

Sometimes.....depends. I do use doggie toothpaste as a treat though. I let them lick it off my finger as a reward.

I brush Bailey's teeth 1-2 times a week. She is pretty good about letting me do it. I know she doesn't like it but she will sit still. I give her a dentabone or greenie once a week too. I don't brush the cat's teeth, I would be ripped to shreds. They get a cleaning once every few years when the vet wants it done.

I find that good raw knuckle bone, sheeps neck or chicken frame will do the job better than I ever could. Seven years old has teeth as good as she had at 2 years old and I fully expect this to continue. I never did clean my dogs teeth. Charlie RIP who was 16 when he left us had perfect teeth all his life on the same system.

Yes, i brushed my dog's teeth and she kind of hated it too. I used special beef dog toothpaste. I also gave her dental chews to help with tarter and plague and dog mints for her breath. I also brush my cat's teeth too.
