Amazing Pet Gizmo's...

Came across this site that gives a list of their top ten amazing pet gizmos... It is at CNet - click here

I had never heard of 3 of these (doggles, the pet shower, and th ecar from Honda), but the other things are amazing.

The top of my list is the pet cell phone. At first this sounds stupid, but then I looked at the features (a call my owner button, an emergency button, gps, a setting that calls you when your dog gets outside a certain range, etc) and I wish I could find it somewhere.

The dog translator is a great idea (not that I don't know what my dog is thinking), simply b/c it allows you to record barks while you are away to tell you the state of your dog. I recently found out my dog sleeps a lot less then I thought while I am not home, although she is not much of a barker this can be a great tool if you must leave your dog alone to help make the stay more managable.

I thought the door chime was pretty cute and I know for the price it would probably work better then a bell, that a lot of people already use. I am also curios about the scooter. It seems a lot safe then biking w/ your dog, and I like the idea of the dog pushing not pulling. Plus being able to hook up multiple dogs would be great.

Just thought I would share since I was actually amazed w/ some of these products... (Sorry if I sounded like a product rep )

pat

Emma wants number 8 and 3. #3 is a payback for all the pictures I take of her. # 8 to e-mail me to get home and give her more food and water & treats.

Really interesting.

The dog's view camera and the cell phone would have to be my fav's though. The phone would be a must if I was to go on a vacation somewhere, though I'd love to see one of the pups faces when they heard my voice coming through their collar.

I like gizmos. I have the bark translator! It's a blast. For entertainment purposes only. But I bought it on Ebay for about $15. Definately worth $15. And Cozy has Doggles, of course. I love the PetMobility! I wonder if they will make them small enough for toy dogs...

flyn - How accurate is the translator??? I can really see an actual use for it to monitor your dogs mood while you are away. I looked and looked, but it dos not seem like the mobility thing can be bought anywhere yet besides the fact tht it was supposed to be out early this year.

Just got Shelby a pair of dogles. Had to go w/ the pink ones for our litle princess. She is so developing a complex
