Talking Not so proud firsts....

I figured this would be a fun thread...

We all have lots of really proud first moments w/ our pups, but if you are anything like me you also have plenty of not so proud firsts...

I used to think it was bad when one dog would manage to pee on the other until we were swimming today, and Jackson stopped to poop and managed to get it on Shelby (she should not have been down there, her own fault, and it was more then a little...)

So now it is your turn, but I will post more later

Sammy once lifted his leg on a woman at the dog park. Of course it was the one wearing the fancy wool pants and expensive shoes.

Sarge pee'd on another dogs head while I stopped to talk to a young girl. And her dog had just gotten a bath.

I'll think of some more later

When Nicholas came to live with us a year ago. I brought him in the house and it was the first time he was meeting my Dad. Dad always has a way with animals they all love him and he called Nicky over to him. He didnt realize whie he was hamming it up that Nicky came to him so fast and he and dogs do so well together. Nicky widdled on the chair he was sitting on. Mind you Dad didnt even notice he was so involved with him. Even while I cleaned it up he didnt even realize.

When I first got Jesse I let him sleep on my bed. My sister came to stay with us for a few days and since we didn't have a spare bed she slept with me in mine. Well, Jesse wiggled his way in between us (it was winter and between us was much warmer). He was very comfy, but there was one problem he couldn't get out of the bed because we were blocking the way. So he tried in vain to wake me up, but my sister didn't realise what he was doing or why he was doing it until he gave up and just peed on her.
I remember waking up to my sister yelling "Hey!!! Hey!! Wake up!! Your dogs peeing on me!!!"

Cass.

When we were bringing Mazie home from the vet after being spayed, the first thing she did was defecate all over the back seat of dad's car...He wasn't too thrilled, but I couldn't stop laughing.. He set up the appointment without telling me and woke me up at 5 in the morning so I could take her in... I was very cranky and forced him to come with me.... and was crabby all day... Then, she did it all over the kitchen floor when we got home... made mom REAL happy...

Oh... And a few months ago, I took Mazie down to the beach and I had her lead wrapped around my belt loops.... I wasn't thinking at the time and the thought of a 60 pound dog running at full force, coming to the end of the line didn't really hit me until a split second before it happened.... I chose the wrong pair of pants to wear that day, too... She got a burst of zoomies and came to the end of the line and.... ripped my pants off.....and I was about a mile away from the car.... Thankfully, the beach wasn't too busy that day, so I wrapped what was left of my pants around me and made a dash for the car... When I got home, mom looks at me and was about to say something... and I just said, "Don't ask.... Please.... don't ask..."

Cassie and Justin especially-- you all have me rolling over here! Missie's done the so-excited-to-see-someone she pees thing (and you know you've brought someone really great home when she does it. LOL). And there's always the embarassment of her messing up my shirt when I'm holding her, making her mommy indecent. lol I'm just glad I usually catch it before I walk around with my shirt tucked into my bra from her feet putting it there!! And then when she gets one of her front paws hanging down the front of my shirt. That's great too.

Dogs... how can you not love them?!

When we came home from shopping once I opened the car door and Abby jumped into the car so fast, sat on my lap and proceeded to pee before I could do anything about it! I guess she really had to go, and being so excited didn't help one bit! My jeans were soaking wet and very warm!! That's the first time she peed on me!

Red face

DaKota loves to swim & play in the water. She get so involved, she is just like one of the little kids. She tries to pee & poop in our lake. I really have to keep an eye on her.

I live out in the country and there are tons of deer. To keep them away from my garden I make my husband pee around the perimeter. Shamous is always very interested in what he's doing and on more than one occasion has wandered right into the stream of pee and gotten it in his face.

We also had a man come up to take away some old farm machinery and he brought with him a blue tick coon hound that was a few weeks younger than Shamous. They were running around the yard having a blast and the BT sniffed out some deer droppings, pointed and barked, and Shamous ran over and was like "ooh goobers and raisinettes..YUMMY" and gobbled them up. It was at that moment that I realized that my baby boy was definately NOT the sharpest tool in the shed.

When I was younger, I was doing my homework and my mom's dog Pepper was on my bed with me.

She started fidgeting and I didn't realize she had to go out. She starts zooming around me on the bed and all of a sudden goes poo all over my homework binder and my homework.

Needless to say, I had to start over after everything was cleaned and Pepper was out in the yard.

Eww! Haha that's gross!

I remember when we first got our puppy, Ringo (now passed). I had left the door to my sister's room open, and my sister had her school assignment papers laying on her floor. Ringo started racing around her room and chewed up her assignment!! I was downstairs while this happened... and I was in BIG trouble from my sister! She had to start her assignment from the start!

At least she could actually use the excuse of 'the dog ate my homework' if she handed her assignment in late!
