rain

Shredder and Runt will hold it as long as physically possible if its raining. ... then finally go down off the porch, and quickly do their business.

Kino will pee outside...but the rain starts to hit his eyes and he runs back in the house really fast...then poop outback on the papers...just so he doesnt have to be outside in the rain...he never has accidents in the house- unless its raining....]

How do your dogs act in the rain?

My girls HATE the rain! They look at me like, "You expect me to pee in that?:" Can't stand rain, LOL. I have to push them out the door, and sometimes bring them out on-leash and wait for about 20 minnutes until they finally go.

How to cure rain phobia: "Ya wanna go for walkies?" (squeeky voice) Yup....put on your raincoat and go for a good walk. Nothin' like it. They get over that really soon when it's associated with a fun walk. LOL.

One summer I walked one of the girls in the rain.......no rain coat, just a t-shirt, shorts, and shoes . It was quite hilarious to see two people staring at me, and me and my dog walked dripping in front of their house, smiled, and said, "Hi".

Carrie: if Im actually willing to go out in the rain with Kino he doesnt care...we dont have many warm rains here, they are usually cold and bordering on ice...(well to me anyways). Its only when I stay on the porch he is bothered by the rain...Kinos Daddy will cover his eyes to keep the rain off them when hes out with him, again then Kino doesnt care about the rain....

Im with you fireworksinjuly. Its been rainig here for that pst week. And its been cold as hell. The temp today is like 40 or 50 something. Cant wait to get to North Carolina!! i think its still in the 70's there.

kaiyah HATES the rain. he'll beg to go out and then not wanna get off the porch. Its like hes afraid to get his feet wet! Its funny. Hell hop and jump and tip toe around wet spots and puddles. de, is quite the opposite, he doesnt care. hell stay out even longer when its raining. I tell him to hurry and he looks at me as if "haha youre getting wet!!"

Good. I'm so glad to hear that other people's dogs are big babies too. LOL!! Boone hates the rain, even drizzle. He even hates it when it's really cold. He refuses to go outside until it's absolutely necessary. Like this morning, I had to push him out there and shut the door quickly so he couldn't get back in. He just sat there staring at me, like "why do I have to be out here and you get to stay in!"

my pup tries to drink the rain... in fact if it starts to rain he runs to the door and starts to howl, even if he just got back in from doing his Business! he is such the little stinker!

Bailey goes out in the rain now. I think she finally realized that she lives is western washington and she better get used to it. Even a few months ago she wouldn't step one foot out the door if it was raining. She would cry at the door to go out to play but when I opened the door she would back up.

I remember the first time I took my puppy Trish outside in the rain. She went potty, but as soon as we went back onto the patio she lay down and started slurping up the puddles! She wouldn't budge...and I didn't have an umbrella with me! (I know, real smart lol) Both of us were soaked when we came inside lol.

My Gabby is pretty good about rain. She acts just as if it's dry outside...which isn't good because she LOVES to run around the yard, and while it's raining she splatters mud everywhere, including on herself! lol Luckily, she's pretty easygoing when it comes to baths...she'll just stand there in the tub. It's thunderstorms where she starts acting weird...she'll follow me around everywhere and hide under the computer desk lol. Trish acts like there's nothing going on.

My little ones hate to go out in the rain! When they are ready to go out and I open the door and see that it is raining they will look up at me as if to say, "nevermind I can wait"...

When they decide they really need to go, they will run out do their business and then come tearing back up onto the porch as fast as they can.
