I can't wait!! Jims mom wanted to keep him thru the weekend but we convinced her it would be best transition wise if someone was here all day for a couple of days. Shammie is sooooo excited!

Thank you. He is going to be 10 in September. Spoke with the hubby's mom and she actually is excited about her decision. She knows its the right thing for him to retire him to the country.

update: he's here!
Picked Ramses up yesterday. So far so good. Shamous is being VERY respectful of him. Ramses had to give a couple of corrections when Shammie got too excited and over zealous. Being that Shamous is like a 3 yr old and Ramses, well, is like a zillion yrs old, theres a bit of differnce in the energy level. I think once Shamous realizes he is not going anywhere, he will stop being in his face so much. But all over ....going very well.
