My scared little baby!!!

Today Tippy had to go to the vet to get her stitches out (she was spayed about two weeks ago). Well, of course she recognized the place, and I sat down to wait until we were called in to have her stitches removed. Tippy suddenly decided that she didn't want to sit on the cold tile floor, so she just jumped right up onto the seat and sat there, my little wuss LOL .

In the exam room, she was no better, trying to hide, poor little girl .

At the vet's office in Idaho, they don't have those typical wooden benches, they have leather sofas. When we went in after hours to get Rip's stitches removed, the vet just had me hold him on his back while he took them out.. Very casual.. But they have a mascot cat and they had a GSD (I think he got adopted) that would stake out their own sofa. The GSD would move over so a person could slide in, but the cat would stretch out over the whole sofa and if anyone touched HER sofa, she would throw a fit.

Buster is the scared wuss of our family, although Ripley is really just a wuss with a lot of growling and barking covering it up.

My dogs are fine until I lift them to the exam counter...then they change their minds about the whole thing! They will try to climb up my shoulder...it's so pathetic! lol

Our vet has an exam table, but she doesn't really use it......she checks the animals out on the floor on a blanket . But this vet (our vet is in a small space, to small to fit her surgical equipment) uses exam tables a lot.
