I love pet stuff!!!

I rarely go out and buy stuff for myself, but the dogs....heck yeah.....I love buying pet stuff...LOL. I don't think I've ever went to Petsmart or the like and spent any less that $100.
Today I went out, and ended up spending $150 in there. Got a really cool muliti-function leash. Can be used as a long, medium and short length, for 2 dogs, shoulder or waist leash (will be great for my clicker training with them, free hands and all.....), and as a temporary tie-out if needed. Really, how excited can I get over a leash...HAHA.
I was checking out some books too, and found one I really thought looked great.....Dog Bible.....Everything Dog... I'll be starting on that tonight.
Then there was treats, frisbees and a new ball.
I wish I could by my dog food there too, but until they start selling good food, I have to go elsewhere.
I honestly can't believe how excited I get shopping for the dogs!
The humane society was also having a fundraiser (which is really close to Petsmart)....so I headed there and they were just about to finish up and so I grabbed a few things.

So, anyone else go crazy buying stuff for their fur kids?? I know I'm far from alone here!!!

I know EXACTLY how you feel when shopping for the fur-kids. Mine have so much already, and I gave a lawn and leaf bag FULL of toys to a friend of mine for her pupsters. I have bought so much that they just don't "need" anything else, so I've decided to give them their very own bedroom and I will decorate it in pinks and they will have their own twin bed with lots of cute doggie pillows, TV, chair and a cute mirrow that is floor level. Can't wait now to start shopping for frilly things for their room.

Well BB you already know I go nuts buying stuff for my furkids. violet has purple collars and leashes to match her name, as well as other collars and leashes. Jasmine has tons of leashes and toys too. Violet has a whole herd of stuffed bunnies that she sleeps with, she loves them.

and treats, we have a whole cabinet full of treats, chews, kongs, bully sticks, rawhides, liver treats, milkbones, you name it, we have it....LOl

Sadly they get way more cool stuff than I do...

Same thing in my household. I constantly am picking up new toys or treats for my 2. I even had 2 custom collars made for each of them. Halloween comes & they each get a new costume.

When my daughter & grandsons were staying with me the joke was that it was hard to tell who had the most toys - the boys or my 2 dogs!

My problem is that I like to spend my money on both me AND my pets! So I'll grab stuff for me, then get stuff for Gizmo. Although I still battle with this massive guilt complex, even if I just leave him to do groceries.

So I'll always pick him up a new toy and whatnot while I'm out. I'm convinced that he actually wants me to leave so he can get more goodies when I get back!

I really need to work on that.

I don't do much damage at Petsmart but I'm bad for online shopping for dogstuff. I'm addicted to sitstay.com, cleanrun.com, planetdog.com, dogwise.com etc etc etc I can always rationalise buying form planetdog since proceeds go to dog related charity

I'm leaving for agility camp in a couple weeks and I'm dying to get a new soft crate, a new shade tent, collars, slip leads etc etc I also love that shirt at planetdog that says "you had me at woof." or the one at cleanrun that says "sit. stay. find me a boyfriend."

I can never get out of Petsmart without spending $ 100.00 either. My neighbor at the old house asked if I ran a daycare when she was looking over my fence. Everytime I go into a pet store I come out with 3 of everything! I always buy the same toy for each dog so they don't play keep away from each other. I have 2 chewers so I should buy stock in Nylabone for all the bones I buy. Have you guys seen the new nylabone fish? They are tough and the best part is they glow in the dark. Too cool!

I find Petsmart and Petco a bit too expensive. I can get the same things from PetEdge a whole lot cheaper. The dog show will be in my town this months and they always have LOTS of vender's selling zillions of dog things. Quite a few are hand made and sooo beautiful, so I'm ready to buy anything for their new room.

Doesn't matter what store I go in to, I go straight to the pet section. But I usually have to buy my kids' stuff online, because thats the only way I can find something that will last! As for buying for myself, any shirts/jackets MUST have a dog on it, or something pertaining to dogs. I buy all of that online as well. I have a favorite t-shirt that has a goofy looking GS on it, and at the bottom it says "Sit Happens"....I love that shirt!

Does spending all of my Christmas money on stuff for the dogs count? LOL

I love to buy things for my dogs also. My brother and Dad think my mom and I are nuts.. "More bones?! Another toy?! They don't need that!" Little do they know -- yes they do. Haha.

But I love to shop for doggy stuff.
