Gave the Ripster a bath a couple of hours ago, and took a couple of pictures.. I just had to share my gorgeous boy.

Wet: (The time when he looks the silliest)

Dry: (Cleans up nicely, doesn't he?)

OH MY!!! If looks could talk. He looks like he's saying, "YOU BI***h!" He looks soooo ticked off in those first pictures. The second one looks like he's ready to eat you! LOL.
Then when he's all dry and beautiful he looks like he's saying, "Ok.....fine! Yeah....I'm gorgeous."

Oh gosh........LOL. He does look angry in the first two pictures....sort of like, "You darn jerk! Was I not gorgeous before?" But in the last pictures, he's very nice and puffy

I should get some pics of my girls when they're wet on here......Tippy absolutely HATES BATHS, so whenever she gets one she has this, "What did I do to deserve this abuse? HUH?" And she tries to climb out of the tub......

lol.. sorta does look like a drowned rat... lol you should see rocky when hes all wet.. half the size the poor dog. hehee.. very cute boy there ripsgirl

LOL yes.. Ripley is by far the most expressive little dog I've ever owned..
He doesn't pose when he is wet, as you can see...

I think he knows he looks like a drowned rat. Those poor ears just crack me up.

Right there in those first pics is the reason I don't get him clipped. My friend keeps saying "Wow that's a lot of hair! You need to shave him!" (She has a chihuahua that is practically hairless, NO hair on the belly or chest and very little on the back or head) If I clipped him, he'd look like that drowned rat all the time.

I keep Cozy's hair long, too. It means a trip to the groomer every week, but I don't like the looks of a Yorkie in a puppy or schnauzer clip. I want her to look like a Yorkie. If I'd wanted a short haired dog, I'd have gotten a Chihuahau (which is what she looks like when she's wet..but she won't allow bath photos).

LOL I know what you mean, Kit.. I love Ripley's coat, and without it he would look like a chihuahua.. Chis are cute little guys, but I got a Papillon because I like the way they look.. If I took away Ripley's hair, he'd still be my baby but the poor dog would be so incredibly ugly....
