What your weather like?

Since I'm obviously very bored -- LOL -- I was just curious what everyone's weather was like? It has been storming here for the past few days, due to a tropical wave. Now we have another one to watch out in the Atlantic! I don't think this is going to be a very fun hurricane season!

It's also interesting because people in other parts of the world are in different seasons

So what's your weather like? Post pictures if you want to! I'll get a couple of my area and post them once I get to my boyfriend's house today.

It was all hot and muggy here, but now it is nothing but pop-up storms (power went out for a couple of hours last night, and bright and early this morning!) and nice mild weather. It averages probably in the mid 70s and it might reach 80. It feels really nice, actually. Slight breeze, warm sun, and wisps of clouds...yep, pretty nice in deed! But now all of the bugs are out...bees, and wasps, and flies...ugh. At least the Japanese Beatles aren't here yet...those freak me out BIG time.

It is HOT. Hot hot HOT! I am secluding myself in my airconditioning in the afternoons, only venturing out in the morning and evening if I can at all help it.

33 degrees celcius = too hot for me!

It's been 90-95 F here, fairly dry the last few days but today is a little cooler, probalby around 80-85. 90 is too hot for me. But I've been out working in my garden all morning (taking breaks, of course to come check out GP and get in the A.C. house.) LOL. The dogs go out for a while, come back in, then out as they wish. LOL. Maybe I'll take them down to the lake later...not that they go all the way in but yesterday Lyric got in all the way up to his elbows. ROFLOL. He's getting braver.

LOL Carrie, that's pretty funny that Lyric isn't too fond of the water --- big bad dobie! Hehe...

I wish the weather were nicer here. I've been dieing to go to the beach, cause when it's not raining it's really nice. Then the yucky mosquitos come out when it's muggy or wet out. So it's been around 85-90s but muggy and wet.

The only part I hate about summer is when it gets TOO hot. I don't see how my pups enjoy sunbathing for hours in this hot weather! LOL

It's been close to 90 and sunny here. Tomorrow is supposed to be 95+ and sunny, with 0 chance of rain. Like you, I don't understand how our kids can go outside and sunbathe, and not get super hot. They love being outside in the summer, and if there's a slight breeze, you practically have to bribe them to come in.

I live in the Washington, DC area. We have had something like 13 inches of rain since last Sunday. Today it isn't raining...yet. It is supposed to rain again tonight. We were complaining last month about it being too dry. Well, that problem has been solved. I am lucky because we haven't had any flooding in my neighborhood but it is sad to see what some other people are going through.

Oh I know! I saw that on our news. It's so unfortunate
Like I said, we're not going to have a very nice hurricane season this year. We still need to get our roof fixed!

70's here in Manchester, UK, due to get hotter for the weekend, yeah!! Going to enjoy the sun whilst I can as we don't see it that often. They say that it could be in the 80's for the weekend which is rare here!

Aw, that's a shame! I've always loved the 4th of July, I would hate if we had to hold off too.

wow, Kinda funny you mention that today.... The headling in todays paper is Inundated.
Weve had the last 5 days straight of heavy non stop rain. Today is muggy hot and sunny. Unfortunatly the damage has alraedy been done.
We have a major highway (17) that goes almost paralel with the NY/PA border. About 10 miles west of my house that highway is closed, for almost the next 100. That highway meets up with an interstate Highway (88) around the 100th mile. 88 had two bridges collapse, 3 truckers perish due to flooding. Towns from just west of me through the 100 miles and beyond have been evacuated and flooded.
Weve been in a state of emergancy for 2 or 3 days. Ive been lucky. My town flooded really bad back in 72 from huricane Agnes. They build damns and everything to prevent it from happening again. They seem to have worked. The river I live near is the higest Ive ever seen in, in my 17 years in this town.
Most people on my river are doing ok. Its the one that The Chemung River connect to (The Sesquhana) thats been causing problems.

www.stargazette.com our local paper has a handfull of articles on whats been going on.

We have had some strange weather here in sunny San Diego. It is usually warm this time of year (70 - 80 along the coast 90+ inland) but its usually a dry heat...no real humidity. Lately its been like 1000% humidity...so miserable! We had some thunderstorms earlier in the week...

Other than the increased humidity...it is rather nice here. Gotta love sunny So Cal!

princessjodi - I have said it before and I will say it again no one from San Diego is allowed to complain about their weather.

We actually managed to get some rain here. Not sure what it is but the past 8 storms have all managed to miss champaign/urbana. It is strange we can be in the middle of the oncoming storm and it will dissipate before hitting the city then form again once past the city. So far this summer of all the storms that should have hit the city less then 10% of them have for some reason...

It is hot and hot and dry and dry and dry for weeks and weeks now, we are having a dry period i feel like in the desert...
I even had to pull the horses off the pasture to put them in pens because there is almost nothing left but weeds, and i like the pasture to rest a little and hope for rain that it greens up again...
so we feed hey now, would have loved to keep Keante on the pasture longer but it is just too dry and i don't want the pasture turned into a dirtfield.
It really is dry.
I used to die in temperatures over 27 degrees celcius, now for my surprise I can live with it, it is still a pain for me but not as bad as it used to be, and for mee it really takes a long time to get used to heat, so you can see how hot it is here and how long....
rain seems to try to avoid us...
