Online photo printing- best place??

K, so I uploaded my vacation pictures to Rite Aid's website (.19 a print) and went and picked them up. They were HORRIBLE. Lines running through them, bad cropping, and horrible colors. I took them back for a refund, and the manager said they'd re-print them free of charge, and if I still wasn't happy, they'd give me a refund. She explained there seems to be a problem with the transfer from their website to the printing machine, and we weren't the first ones to complain. They re-printed some off a CD I'd brought in for me right there, and the quality was much better. So now I'm supposed to take them all in on a CD and they're going to re-print them. There's alot of pictures, and the quality still isn't as good as I think it could be. And it's not my camera (6 megapixels), it's obviously the printing.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations as to online photo printing? Shutterfly seems to get pretty good reviews? I don't know anyone else who prints digital photos, so I'm kind of floundering through this! Thanks so much for any help.

I just send them on line to Wal-Mart. I've never had a problem with them. They are the matt finish. If you like glossy better then Target does that. You can send on line there as well.

I'm not sure if you have a Best Buy around you? A friend of mine who is a professional photographer told me they are the best around. His pictures are great. I haven't had a chance to send any in yet.

I have used Walgreen's and they turn out very nice.

i use snapfish.com and they seem to do a pretty decent job. or at least decent enough that i've been satisfied with them.
