Things they do that just make you wanna laugh!

Okay, I'm sure we all have experienced a time where our poochie misbehave, or do something wrong/bad and we just can't help but laugh!

I remember an incident with Denali, she was about 4 months old, en she walked into my bedroom. I was picking up the clothes from the hamper that's right outside my bedroom.. all of a sudden I hear this trickling noise and I drop the clothes and look in my room. Here's this lil ball of fluff trying to get on my bed, but yet she's peeing at the same time Now that I look back at it, it's too funny and I think it's so cute. I was mad at her then, LOL But the poor girl was having trouble getting up on the bed!

Any of you have any experiences like that?

Every time Bailey is doing something naughty we think it's cute. Sometimes my cats will knock things off the counter like a pen or something. Bailey and I will see the pen at the same time and kind of look at each other. Then we race for it and she always gets it first. She runs around the house in victory and I can either 1) chase her, which is what she wants or 2) get the treats out and bribe her into letting me have it (which is also what she wants). She wins either way and I am left with a feeling that I have been tricked.

Tonight, we were relaxing on our bed, sharing our day with each other...a lovely family moment. The girls were lying on the floor, curled up together. I went to feed them, and Serene came back to our room followed by Jersey. Serene set her chin on our bed and let a a huge burp. Just as we started laughing and Greg asked who it was, Jersey passed loooong squeaky gas, and we erupted in laughter. Well, Jersey DOES NOT like people laughing at her spontaneous body functions, and she starts to bark at us. I can just imagine..."IT'S NOT MY FAULT"...EVERYBODY DOES IT" She just sounds so disgusted at us for laughing!

Ripley makes me laugh on a daily basis. Today, I took some halloween pictures of him to send out to his 'god mommies' in Idaho (he has 5 of them now. ) and I wanted to get a picture of him beside a pumpkin, in his "Macho Mutt" t-shirt. (I had a pair of 'cool dude' sun glasses, but he absolutely will not tolerate them and growls at me if he sees me coming towards him with them in my hand)

Well, two problems. One, he doesn't like the shirt when he's at home. He looooooooooves his 'clothes' when we go out but I guess he feels the same way I do, that uncomfortable clothes aren't worth wearing when you're at home and nobody will see you. (Give me jeans and a t-shirt any day.)

So, he knows that when he wants me to take a shirt off of him, he has to raise his paws wayyyyy in the air so I can just pull it right off. So, I got about 50 pictures of him with his paws straight up in the air, all the while he was keeping one eye on the EVIL pumpkin and in several of the pics he even had his teeth bared. (They didn't turn out. that would have been the greatest picture ever.)

The other day I wasn't feeling well so my mom was walking our dogs by herself. Well, the dogs reliazed I wasn't with them when they got down to the end of our 1/4mi lane. Rose (my dog) kinda stopped for a min. but then she sped up agian and was like, "Ok, she's not here. Who cares?!?" Blackie on the other hand (mom's dog) didn't really want to leave without me being there. Mom encouraged him though, but when they had been walking for about 1mi Blackie laid down and refused to move. Mom tried to go forward but he wouldn't bug. As soon has mom said, "Do you want to go home?" he sprang right up and started to head for home with MUCH more enthusiasm. It was pretty funny because Blackie is mom's dog and Rose is mine and Rose could have cared less that I wasn't there but Blackie was throwing a fit because I wasn't there.... lol

OMG! You guys are making me laugh. That is just what I need now. Your dogs sound like a kick in the pants. Too cute.

Lyric is ALWAYS doing something that makes me laugh and a lot of it is stuff I really shouldn't allow. He just now, this second came up while I was trying to type and shoves his muzzle under my forarm and flings it up in the air. He doesn't just nudge like most dogs. He flings it straight up into a vertical position with my hand way up in the air.....and he's STRONG. That is pushy behavior and I shouldn't pay any attention, but I do. I can't help it. He's just so darn cute. But since he's not too pushy in other areas and he knows I'm the "alpha bitch" (hope that's ok to say that word) he won't take me for all I'm worth. That's the plan anyhow. He almost got me when my shoulder was REALLY in bad shape. That would have sent me to the moon with pain. I had to watch it with him. But it's doing much better.

I probably mentioned this before, but I forget for sure. When he's hungry he stands at the counter staring at the toater oven where I often put his bowl. But even if the bowl isn't there, he still has a stare down with the toaster oven. The funny part is how he leans his nose against the edge of the counter until his whole muzzle is in the shape of a 1/2 circle. It looks so ouchie, I can't see how he can do that. He kind of spaces out because last night when he did it, I reached over and scrathed his bottom and he almost jumped out of his skin. I really startled him. He should have seen me out of the corner of his eye. I was standing right next to him and chuckling. But he was in another world.....food, food, food. He must have been hungry. LOL. But that all started when he did it once and I cracked up laughing. To my dogs, laughter is the same as praise. So he does it all the time now.

Cotton pick it....one more thing. I can't help it. He just is constantly doing weird things. Just now, I looked behind me and he's lying on the floor in front of the window but behind the thin, whispy drapes. The sun is shining in. He's got his chin stretched way up so he can sort of rest it on the winow sill...quite a stretch. The curtains are only covering his head and the rest of him is showing. Silly. I don't know.....maybe it doesn't take much to amuse me.

Well, I've got 4 dogs and they all do funny things but I'll catch another one later. I'm hogging up the Internet. LOL. Sorry.

Boone is always the ham too, Carrie. He is such a character when he chases after things. He loves for me to toss anything so he can chase after it. And his does this little pounce, pounce pounce dance before he gets to it and then slams both front paws right down on whatever it is. It's the funniest thing.

And now he's gotten to where when I come home from work or whatever and take him outside, he'll put both of his feet on my legs and after I start scratching his belly, he'll start turning in circles while standing on his hind legs. It's hilarious! I know he does it more because I'm laughing at him. He looks like a little circus dog, doing tricks.

Lil Paws, Boone does the same thing while I'm in the shower. I have a huge floor to ceiling window in my living room that has those vertical blinds in them and I guess Boone thinks that he has to literally crash through the blinds to get in the window to see outside. He makes an awful racket every time. So now he's figured out the shower curtain and does the same thing. Once I thought he was going to come flying into the tub with me! LOL! I probably could have submitted that to some funny home video show and won.

LOL, That's the thing about little dogs. They're such drama queens. Boone sounds very hilarious. You can add a command when he dances around on his hind legs in circles and then reward him big time. He'll learn to do it everytime. LOL.

Chuli takes a piece of her food and tosses it up in the air and spins in circles while it's landing. I swear she can make 3 spins before gravity has a chance to work. LOL.

That little Chuli Chihuahua DID jump in the tub when I first got her. Boy, did that suprise her. She never did it again. Gee wiz...I wonder why. Didn't she like the payoff or something? I should have made it more fun. Darn.
