ITA w/comment that your tenacity is a help to others reading the thread. Personally, I've never considered breeding, pure or cross, but after reading your passionate and logical arguments, I'm convinced. I'll not support those practices in any way.

DOGSAREME: I'm sure you've seen me on that forum as well. I get angry at her responses, but I just do not want to post anything. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. :X

This lady is just so extremely selfish. Her dogs don't even look the same. The male doesn't even look like a mastiff x Rottie. He looks more hound/mastiff. And I don't see how she can claim that the one coming from the shelter is a M/R x unless it came from someone who knew the breeds for sure.

I remember one of her excuses for not getting a shelter dog is because "It may not have the temperment like her dogs"... Tried telling her that the puppies are just the same situation.

I have read and seen all of dogsareme's responses and she has nearly exhausted herself to no end explaining every detail she could. She doesn't believe that "pure bred breeders" will take back any of their puppies. I told her if they're REPUTABLE you bet they'll take in the dogs. Even if they're 8 years old.. they'll keep them for as long as they have to.

Sadly enough... there are maybe 4 or 5 people total on there that believe in reputable breeding. All of the others "see no problem with it... if she's doing all the right things there's nothing wrong with it"

Well, if doing "all of the right things" includes KILLING puppies that can't find homes because of her irresponsiblity, I'll eat dog poop for a month.

Saying, "Oh, I'll just put them to sleep" sounds so much nicer than, "I'll take the puppies and kill them because I'm to lazy to find them proper homes."

I know, your right. I should not be saying anything at all because I have nothing nice to say. I just can't seem to stop myself which is why during the first argument I PM'd Roman to lock the topic. Then on another post I made putting the BYB's book of excuses, she made a snotty remark and I just could not help myself. I don't think she will ever see the point.

Yeah I saw that remark. IMO... she's the one that started it back up. She claims she doesn't want to talk about it, yet she makes a remark like that. Like Sonja said though... keep it up if you want! Someone out there is reading your responses and thinking twice.

I agree, people like this drive me NUTS. Like the mentality that female dogs should be bred "once" just so they've "done it". Argh.

Kudos for trying. I'm hoping Cass is right and that it did sink in, but she's too proud to admit it. Here's to hoping. :|

Well since my last message I have posted(3 days ago), she has not replied back and she has not been on any other posts. I think she might of left that forum.... I don't know if that's good or bad... but I did have alot of support from the other members in what I was saying to her.
I hope maybe it may of got through to her, or at least make her think more indepth about it.
