Update on "redneck neighbors"

Some of you may remember a rant I posted about our neighbors.. They have been gone 6 weeks this coming Monday, and noone knows where they are. 5 weeks ago, their electricity was cut off due to non payment... 3 weeks ago, their animal were taken by the humane society... Today, I find out that there is now a missing persons report out for them. Last August, they had a son.. Today, the cops came out with a warrant to search the premises along with the neighbor lady's sister to see if they could find any clues as to where they could be.. They couldn't find any sign that their son even existed... No birth certificate, no clothes, no diapers, no toys.... nothing.. There's also a shotgun missing from the house.. They claim they went camping, but I know different... First off... whenever they go camping, they _always_ take their dogs... they didn't this time. Secondly, why would they leave for this amount of time without contacting anyone so we at least know they're safe? I, personally, think something is up... No evidence the baby even existed... a shotgun missing... Their families don't even know where they are... I'm probably being too pessimistic about things, but I fear the worst has happened..

Whoa...that's scary. I wonder what happened? I hope they're found...for better or for worse.

Yes, I'd say the red flag is up for sure. I hope they didn't harm the son. Sounds like they running from someone. Did she actually "have" the baby, or could they have taken him. Really not a good situation for any baby.

The baby is a year old... they also have a 2 year old daughter, a 5 year old daughter, and a 8 year old son... Each child has a different father.. I'm going to call the Humane Society today and see if they can tell me any information on Teddy and Dusty (the two dogs).. I'll keep you posted as I find out anything..

I called the Humane Society today and the lady told me that both dogs were adopted out together on the 21st of July to a loving home.

Wow...that sounds extremely sketchy. I'm very happy for the dogs, but pretty frightened for the child. I hope things are ok for him.

That is too scary! Having creepy people like that living next door. I hope that everything turns out well in the end but I guess I too think the worse. Poor children! We should all keep them in our thoughts!

Happy to hear that the dogs were adopted out! They can now have a chance at life that they deserve!

I hope the baby is okay... as well as the other children. Gosh, what a weird and frightening situation.
