Your dog's worst habit

What is your dog's worst habit?

Dakota is a jumper. And it's not a gentle, place-the-paws-on-the-knee kind of jump, it's a BODY SLAM. He comes running a mile-a-minute at you and rams that big puppy body into me, other people, Buster and the bed. (I have a very tall bed that he isn't always able to jump onto) We're working on it, though.

Ripley's worst trait (I wouldn't call it a habit) is his aggression. He does not like strangers, at all. If a stranger makes eye contact without a proper 'introduction' he gets nasty and starts growling. If they introduce themselves and let him sniff their hand, he usually will either sniff and growl/back up, or sniff and wag his tail, and lick. Once he makes his mind up about someone (Usually "I DON'T LIKE THEM.") it's almost impossible to change it..
I've worked on this "pickiness" ever since it developed when he was about 5-6 months old, and now I think it's safe to blame it on genetics. Regardless, it's not a good trait.

Milo's worst habit is~always putting his paws up on me when i try to pat him!!!!Its cute sometimes but when he does it all the time(grrrr)

LUckys worst habit is~Jumping up at me and the couch!!!Its really nice when i come back from the shops and he jumps up then coz he's pleased to see me but when he does it for fun then (GRRRRR)

hmm habits...

Joker's worse habit is when he kisses you.... it's cute when you have him do it one command but when you bend down to get something and you come back up with a face that's been licked about a million times, it gets annoying.

Kira's is ... she gets excited when I pet her, and sometimes she jumps and will hit her noise right in your eye... it really hurts.

Lexie's habit is in how much she loves to play with the scorer ball… that’s all she wants to do most of the time.

Dracs worst habit is getting to wiggly and excited when company comes..
Minis worst is getting too paranoid when company comes..
Zeus' worst is stealing Pig Ears from the cabnet...lol

Boone's worst habit is not having the same sleep schedule every night. Some nights he'll sleep all the way through the night and even get mad at me when I get up for work. Then others he'll be awake and ready to play at 4:30 in the morning. ugh. So annoying.

Like last night, I took him for a 3 mile walk around the park and then played fetch with him in the house for about 30 minutes. So I figured he'd be super sleepy by the time I was ready for bed. Not so. And when he finally slept, he was restless and finally got up at 5:45 wanting to go outside and play.

Lyric: pestering the other dogs to play.
goosing me when I'm getting dressed.

Chulita: Licking me, licking everyone, yapping when she sees someone on our walk. Being mean to Lyric and sometimes biting him, hanging off his face when all he's doing is lying down next to her. He just sits there like nothing happened, completely tolerant or oblivious to her.

Jose: Licking me, licking everyone, yapping when Chuli starts yapping. Serious obession with food.

Bonnie: She has no bad habbits. She's an angel. Oh, maybe one...turning her butt to everyone so they'll scratch her behind. People would like to pat her head, but she immediately turns or walks through so her rear can be scrathed instead. That's not really very bad. LOL.

I think these are more of the Charactoristics I don't like the most but here goes....

Blackie: He has a big food obsesion kind of thing. If somebody has food he will go and sit at their feet and beg for it. (At least I tought him to sit for a treat so he won't go and clobber the people to get the food.) He also barks at trucks that drive by us on our walks. (I'm working on that one...)

Rose: She chases cars. Other than that she is a perfect angel!!

(Yah right....LOL)

Loupie(deceased)-I didn't like her lickiness. Before I knew her name, my older brother and I called her licky. She licked you for ever!! Every time you would go down to pet her she would start to lick you. (Although it was kind of fun because me and Jacob would lay down on the grass and cover our face and she would start nudging us and licking us, trying to get us up. She would do that if we got tackled when we played football to and were lying on the ground. She was a sweet dog though.)

Alley's worst habbit is when we r outside she will go into the recycables(spell*) adn take out a pop can tear it apart and lick the little bit of pop left in the can. Then she goes and gets another one and another one, etc.
So Then I have to go out ther and pick up the cans and all the little metal type pieces up.
Here other habbit isn't that anoying but it's sorta cute!!
She will take out emty milk cartons and like out of them a little then she will run around shacking them back and forth with her neck, then she'll drop them and in a couple minutes she'll run up and puonce on them and they'll slid on on the ground.
After that milk carton has been all trashed up and wrecked she'll get another one. LOL

Hmm, my goodness my dogs have quite a few! LOL But they're still wonderfuly behaved, just goofy and mischevious!

Sarge - LICKING!! UGH LOL He likes to lick anything and everything. He sometimes will just sit and lick his paws and it bothers me cause I hear his jaw go *clunk, clunk, clunk* LOL But I'll be in the bathroom, and he comes racing inside and to the door, and he'll start licking the door... or if he sees me come home, he starts to lick the window.. LOL But there are times when I love his big ol' tounge givin slobbery kisses! But he also likes to eat the dry kitty food when no one is home, or when everyone is sleeping.. BAD BOY!

Sheiba - Trying to be sly when there is food around. She's really bad about it with my dad, and of course my dad lets her do it

You can be sitting on the couch eating ANYTHING, and she'll just be nice, and sit there all pretty, then when you're not looking, slide up on the couch next to you, and lay down, then she stretches her paws out onto your lap, and acts like she's stretching, then she'll lay her head down onto your lap, and look at you like "I looooveee yooou, you know I'm cute!" She's a begger! Oh and she also has an obsession for candy, like Smarties and Skittles

and also shoving the other dogs out of their food bowls, and making them wait till SHE is finished eating and ready for them to eat.

Denali - Hmm, I don't know which of hers are worse! Let's see, aggravating Sarge and the cat, chewing up pens or pencils, DIGGING, sniffing your plate (she is told SOOO many times NO! But she isn't afraid of anything and still does it!), eating out of the cat box

, tearing up newspaper or anything able to be shredded... hmm those are a few I can think of.. LOL She's a brat...

I hope my dogs don't sound bad from all of that! LOL

Oscar ~ I honestly cannot think of any bad habits that he has. He is docile and mellow, is happy as long as he gets his breakfast and dinner and a warm place to snooze.

Winston ~ He's food aggressive. Can't really call it a habit I guess, but it's the only negative thing I can think of about him.

Bentley ~ He FREAKS if I get out of the car and shut the door and leave him. If I get out, he literally screams. Not a yip yip yip, I'm talking about an i'm-gonna-die-NOW scream. He was the pug that was found along a highway, then wound up at the shelter and all that, so perhaps that might have something to do with it. I don't know. I like to take my boys with me when I go on short errands (post office or anywhere, where I am not long, and can see the car from whereever I am). But with Bentley, I dont like to. He gets very very upset.

Oh, and I forgot Buster..

Buster is stubborn. That means that whatever he is doing, he wil continue to do. Last night, he wanted to sleep on my bed. He weighs about 85-90lbs and with my knees the way they are I couldn't lift him off, and I wasn't about to drag him off. I offered him a piece of meat, cheese, a bowl of kibble... nothing. he was sleeping on the bed...
So he slept on the bed and I slept on the couch.
