Talking Peej leared a new trick...LOL
So, today I was playing fetch with the dogs out back. Over the past few days especially, I have been getting out the hose and giving them a good drenching in this awefully hot and humid weather. PJ must have caught on to how to get the hose working....LOL. After about 15 minutes of play, he bounded over to the side of the house, and returned with the hose in his mouth, and ON....LMAO. I figured what the heck, the could do with a good hose down and when we were done, I rolled the hose back up onto the stand and shut it off, noticing the teeth graze marks on the tap...haha.
I guess now all I have to do is teach him to turn it off and put it away!!! HAHAHAHA.

Oh they never cease to amaze me either....HAHAHA. I thought at first when he brought it over, should I be letting him do this? But you know what, it's just fine with me. The tap is a little scratched, but hey. He didn't damage the hose at all, and considering his previous "chewy" behavior, he's actually had quite a "soft touch" lately. Even bringing me the mail, apart from the drool, there are never any bite marks in the envelopes. If I wasn't out with them or watching close by from a window whenever they are out, it would be a different story, I'd go out to a flooded yard at some point I'm sure, but there's no risk of that, so I'll let him have this new trick...haha. It really really amazed me. Not only did he learn this simply from observation, but managed to turn the tap in the right direction (granted, it wasn't on fully), but still!!! Maybe it was just a fluke, but somehow, I think it will happen again. Ok, now if only he would truly grasp the concept of "heel"....LOL. For such a "smartie pants", that is one thing he has a difficult time with. I can't say he is aweful, he is improving, but sheesh, every other thing he grasps "just like that".

Oohhh, a gardner eh?? LOL Wouldn't that be something!! To bad he likes to eat my plants....had to take them all out of the back yard...haha.

He already knows how to give himself a "bath" though, as soon as he sees a muddy, wet, swampy area, that's when he decides to have a "bath".....LOL.....(mud bath isn't what I'd be going for though!).

I really hope he doesn't learn everything I do by observation though. Next thing you know he'll be helping himself into the FRIDGE!!! YIKES.
