I met Shadow's brother!!!!

A lady brought in her blind cocker on Friday to be groomed ( I hadn't arrived at the time ), so when I got there I helped my girlfriend to hold and comfort this little guy while she did a take down.
The longer I looked at him the more he reminded me of Shadow and he even had the same crooked little front teeth. Unbelievale, same color, body shape, ears....the whole nine yards.
Well, when she came to pick up her boy I just couldn't resist going to talk to her. As I approched she was looking at my boy and said to me " That dog is identical to mine but with eyes!!!"
It turns out ( after a lenghty chat ) that she bought her boy at the same place and same time as I did and from the same breeder. Imagine my delight...you would have thought I was meeting a missing child.

She went on to tell me that her dog had severe glaucoma and had to have his eyes removed within a one year span....they wondered what to do but then decided that being he was only about 5-6 years of age at the time they would have the surgery done and keep him with them!!! I could have just hugged her to pieces...what an wonderful person. She even ran outside to go get her hubby so he could take a look at Shadow and see the similarities. Shadow had a good sniff of his long lost brother and they seemed to get along quite well.
And you would never believe this but they live 3 blocks from my house , what a coincidence, heh!
Anyhow , she is now on my puppy biscuit list for free treats.
Just had to share that bit of news with my canine family!

Oh that is just too cool!!!
How sad about him being blind though.

But he seems to have wonderful owners who are taking great care of him!

That's amazing! I went nuts when I found a dog that I think is a little mate of Rosie's

I'm glad he had such devoted owners. I hope Shadow doesn't end up with those health problems though

That was certainly a very exciting day for you and those folks. I bet you end up being friends. Isn't is odd how pets can bring humans together in a positive way. I can't help thinking that positive people attract each other though, just as negative ones do. Well anyway, let us know all about Rusty's brother.

That is too cool Shadow! It was really cool when I was able to meet Sheiba's mom. The two of them were so much alike it was scary! Hehe!

Thats just great!! Im glad hes with such a great family.

My Kino man has two sisters, he was the only boy. One of his sisters saddly passed away when they were 5 months old due to a heart defect. All three of us used have the same Vet. I have since moved on to a new vet so I no longer get updates on the surviving sister.

Thanks guys! Yes, I am and was very excited...I baked some puppy biscuits yesterday and will try and get some over to them some time this week. It may be only three blocks but it's been so busy at the shop lately that I've gone from helping out to being employed 5-6 days a week.
I just love it and only hope my darn old bones hold out.LOL.
I will surely keep you guys updated and will see if she will let me take a picture of him too!!!!
