What's more fun then 100+ degrees???

Moving in that temp

We had to be out of our old apartment by this Wednesday and since the heat wave will not let up till then we decided to move yesterday, and by we I mean I moved everything and Jill mostly packed. (she hurt her back Saturday) So we are in our new apartment, with more then double the square feet. We still have to meet the neighbor dogs, but Shelby does not seem to know what to do with all the room, but she does seem to enjoy her new race track

Hopefully tonight we will get to do some running on the trail, maybe take her for a dip (got to see what the pool policy is for dogs), and see if any of my neighbors arrange play times in the dog area.

I feel for you! Moving is a big job as is, never mind doing it in that heat.... a cold beer probably tasted pretty good once you were done. How did the dogs manage the heat? Hope they can partake of the pool too.

Shadow - Shelby got to go from one AC apartment to the other. She hated watching me go in and out, and was terribly bored but otherwise she was fine

Well Mul, I think I may have topped that, at only 90 degrees yesterday.....

My dog got sprayed by a skunk.... it ended up being about 94 out and made the smell 100time worse then it was.
We got the smell out of the dog pretty fast but it didnt want to leave the house.
So just remember, it coulda been worse.

In regards to the moving, I moved into my college dorm on the 3rd floor in 90 degree weather also....so I know what thats like....

fireworks - that had to be fun, and in all fairness it was only a heat index of 100+, I think the actual temp was in the mid 90's.

I was stupid enough to volunteer to help with move-in to the dorm. It was a 10 hour day, and hot as could be but we did have an elevator. I am still not sure why I volunteered for that, but I am pretty sure it was for a free shirt...

Oh yuck! Moving is such a gross job anyway. Sounds like an exciting move though to get double the space! Congrats

eewwwww!! I hate the heat, and moving!!...it was not fun feeding the horses this morning...all 15 of them, grrr! The flies don't help either, they are worse this year. Sorry you had to move in the heat, that is a lot of work!! Take advantage of the AC!!!!

I am definitely enjoying the AC (I am lucky that 4 of the buildings i work in are connected so you do not have to go outside), but sadly we still have to move the last of it tonight. We are seeing 93 with a heat index of 110 right now, but hopefully by 5 it will cool down.

YAY..
It's really hot right now, and I sure hope it cools when I have to move. I know what you mean about the packing and moving in 100 degree weather........ not fun.
