Hey guys, sfailace needs help finding a doxie, I know some of you know of some good reputable places to find one. It seems Sfailace has had some bad luck with finding people thru the internet to get another dog from.

Don't get one via the internet. That's my advice.

I'd contact a Dachshund rescue in your area and scan the local shelters too. If you desperately have to have a puppy...contact the Dachshund club in your area (state) or the national club for your country and get a list of breeders from them. Also find out when and where their shows are held and go along to see the dogs up close and talk to breeders there. If you can't seem to find breeders near you, ask breeders in other parts of the country about breeders near you.

Good luck finding a new furkid. I hope you find one that fits your family perfectly.

Cass.
