Dog Magazines

Just curious what dog magazines you all read or subscribe to.

I read an Australian magazine called 'Dogs Life'. It's the only one I've found so far that doesn't promote designer mutts. It's big on spaying & neutering and discourages irresponsible breeding.

I love it.

that is a good one, maybe i find one i should read more often..
tried a couple ones but they weren't that great, other than that i just get the "Schutzhund USA"
i have to admit the biggest source in that direction on differnt things is
" globalpaw" to me, well if you can call that somehow subscribed?!?!?!

I subscribe to Dog Fancy and occasionally read Whole Dog Journal. I have loads of Dog Fancy magazines I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of! lol

I used to get Dogs' Life all the time but I found it was a bit kiddyish sometimes, it just started to lack something that it didn't when I first started getting it.

We only get Dog Fancy in most places around here, and it's typically specific breeds, so I usually only buy if it's an all breed one, or for Rotties in particular.

I'm more prone to buy dog books rather than magazines, I'll have my own doggie library soon...LOL.

I subscribe to Dog Fancy and Bark. I pick up the Yorkie magazine once in awhile. A wee bit pricy to subscribe to.

I get Dog Fancy & Whole Dog Journal. I have a fairly good library of books also. I love the all breed books & grooming books the best.
I use them alot at work for references.

We read Dog Fancy, Canine Chronicle (available online), AKC Gazette, Dog News, and any other freebie magazines that they give out at the shows.

Check out your local Pet store or your local book store they do have some breed specific magazines
