Smile Happy Birthday To Lyric
It seems like such a short time ago that I drove the 5 hour trip to Montana to pick up my puppy. I spent the night at the breeder's and we went out on the town that night. As you all know, getting your puppy is such a thrill.

The next morning we drove back and he listened to The Girl from Ipanema (sp?) a good deal of the way home. I think it became his favorite song.

He wasn't an easy pup to raise but I was determined to raise him into a well mannered, trained and happy dog. I wanted him to enjoy his life to the max.

He's a mature, three year old today. And he's exceeded my expectations in every area. He's enriched my life in a way I never dreamed of and I hope he's as happy as I am.

Here are a few baby pictures which remind me of how fast dogs age and what a cute little dumpling he was.








Now he's a big, handsome Doberfella.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately, my Mom didn't bake me a cake or buy me any presents. She doesn't want me to have too many more toys and bones are out of the question. Cake? Well, I did get some spaghetti with chicken, shrimp and Alfredo sauce and extra parmessan cheese. I took it off the coffee table when her boy left the house...I just couldn't resist. So, if she won't do anything special for my b-day, I guess I have to take care of my needs myself. LOL.
