I'm still here

Hi everybody

I'm still here. I've been running ragged with mom's house finally selling and getting everything prepared for the closing. We still haven't seen the kids yet grrr what ya gonna do?? He said he'd be here some time this week (I'm not holding my breath) I know they will make it sooner or later but hey I've been waiting a week now....
Brandi is doing fine, she and my new rescue Lucy are not exactly best friends. I think Brandi is intimidated by her size and her activity level (she's only a year old) They don't have agressive tendencies toward each other they just kind of ignore each other. I'm going to give it a little more time because Lucy has only been with me a week tomorrow.

On another note I am having a new roof put on my house. The contractor stripped the old shingles off and wouldn't you know, he found dry rot and termites in my roof boards. YIKES! This means he had to tear off the roof boards and put up all new OSB board before he could continue shingling. So now I have half a roof done and am just holding my breath that the other half isn't as bad. I am also waiting for the exterminator to come here this afternoon and inspect the house so he can give me the bad news on treatment for the whole house! So it hasn't been one of my best weeks!
