Happy Halloween!

Have a fun and safe Halloween. If you are young enough to go trick or treating, be safe. I love Halloween, the fall climate, the colored leaves, the pumpkins, the humor...just plain fun. Unfortunately, where I life now, I don't get many, if any trick or treaters. I remember my kids how much fun we all had dressing up and going out. And I loved answering the door and making a fuss over the kids' costumes. They were so cute.

One time a tiny, little boy, maybe 2 or 3 came to my door and his Dad was standing in the driveway about 20 feet back. I asked the boy if he liked Snickers and he didn't answer...so young. But his Dad hollered from the driveway, "Snickers are great!" LOL. I wonder who got the Snickers. I sure go a good snicker (chuckle) out of that one.

Ok then.....Fine! Would you rather I said, "have a rotten Halloween. Have a very frightening, spooky time." (?) LOL. (just kidding)

I'm in for it, this halloween.. I've agreed to take the little girl I babysit (Lexi) and her sister trick-or-treating.. :shiver:

And YES the parents always wind up eating the chocolate.. I remember when I would go trick-or-treating, when I would come home my brothers, mom and dad would always eat every single little fun-size chocolate bar and they'd usually take the smarties, too. LOL.

I finally got some pumpkin lights up, and the bat lights, and the flying bat, the electric pumpkin, and the fog machine. Put decals on the door. I'm a poop this year because I usually wrap the front porch in spider web but I just didn't have time.
I love Halloween!

Oh boy!!! You guys are going to have fun. Rip, I bet your parents wouldn't dare take your candy now. Maybe you'll help those little kids with theirs. LOL.

My goodness Kit, you are in the "spirit" of the fun of it. Your decor sounds splendidly creepy!!!

I have the fog machine, a ton of pumpkins (and a couple of ADORABLE ones that my neighbor [She's 6] carved for me) and a candy bowl with a motion sensor and a rubber hand that smacks you when it senses a hand reaching into the bowl. We didn't do much for decor this year.

Every year my husband and I buy a pumpkin for each animal and we carve them into animal jack-o-lanterns. We carve our own scarey jack-o-lanterns and then carve two cats, a dog and a chinchilla. We have been doing this for about 7 years now. This is the second year I got to carve one for Bailey, it's so fun! The huge pumpkin in the middle is the biggest pumpkin I have ever seen and we bought it just for fun.

Happy Halloween to everyone else too!

I'm going to be handing out candy this year. Growing out of the trick or treating thing LOL But I'm dressing Denali, Sheiba, and Sarge and have them sit outside with me... Denali and Sheiba love kids, so does Bub, but I'm a little hesitant about how he's going to react, so if he gets too nervous I'm going to put him in my room.

Milo - Do you think your pup is going to leave on the devil ears? LOL

Milo, you could go out and maybe buy some halloween-themed ribbon and tie it loosely enough around his neck (two fingers should be able to fit in between his neck and the ribbon).

I've got my signs all ready . One for the door, for the brick, for the tree, for the lights......you can never have enough signs---with at least six signs up people are BOUND to read them and realize its no use coming to the door!

I'm dressing the girls up for not halloween but Christmas (in December, of course ). I'm ordering them little jingle collars and jingle bracelets for their paws from J-B Pet (JB PET!)!

Have a good day guys, and enjoy your candy.
