Why did she even bother to ask the questions if she ended up avoiding your suggestions?

Is this person even for real? Her posts don't even make sense...see the example below...

Does this quote makes sense to anybody else?

LOL I thought the same thing! How can you not have enough money to get her spayed, but you have plenty of money to go and buy another dog? And I agree with what Gaddy pointed out.. she stated she got her mutt from a shelter..

Well, shelters don't adopt out unspayed females! IMO I think they bred her on purpose... But, I can't really jump to conclusions, but that's my assumption. She just doesn't seem very concerned about her questions. At the end she was all happy and giddy about it, but in the beginning was asking questions.

2ndly, she didn't even know the correct age of her dog.

3rdly, any responsible owner would still have their dog spayed/neutered, or atleast keep a female in heat INSIDE away from male dogs. Even if the dog lives in a different neighborhood, or is in the city wandering, they'd be able to smell her from miles away!

I just hope that they don't allow her to give birth outside, and the pups stay out there, because by the sounds of it, she spends most of her time outdoors

Oh and another thing... $100 for a spay is NOTHING compared to the prices in my area!

Yeah, $100 was what I spent on my 15 lb Boston...

...and I have a sinking feeling those puppies will be born outside, and with her living in Kansas...I don't have much hope for the puppies.

Same here. i dont know why she asked the question. they will rpobally end up being put to sleep. Poor dogs. The least she could do would be to get a crate for 30$ and leave her in there sometimes. If she cant afford the dog,she souldnt have got it. Seriously. Now she is going to end up with something that is going to cost way more than the spay and in the end, they prollie wont even be here. Sad.

Umm...
This person better be thankful that I wasn't here when this thread was created.
You are making NO sense. Don't you understand that it is MUCH cheaper to spay than to pay for vet care for the pregnant bitch and her puppies up until they are ready to be placed in new homes? A vet visit for, say, 4 pups to get their vaccs and checkups would be $150 EASILY. And I'm not sure how many times they are supposed to be checked out.. I'd say at least twice.
So in the end it will be way over $300 to care for the pups. Spaying sounds like a better way to go to me....

well, besides the fact that shelters DO adopt out intact females on a spay/neuter contract, its NOT that unusual.

but this is a troll. ignore the troll. dont feed the troll. this person has no interest in providing care for their dog, no interest in following anyones suggestions, in fact, has no interest in actually listening to anyone elses suggestions. if this dog in fact exists, their owner has already proven the responsibility is simply not there.

I got Colby from a nokill shelter and no, she wasn't spayed. I don't believe this person really got her dog from a shelter.

And you know what, this is just fishy. "I just found out she 1 years old". Making it up as she goes along!!

Yeh, I was reading it and it sounded kinda fishy. She didn't sound like she cared at all for her dog.
My first dog, Brownie, wandered into our yard one day and we decided to keep her. A little while later, she had puppies!! (Rose was one of them.) We had NO idea she was pregnent or even that she wasn't spayed. Luckly, she was an AWSOME mother and she even went through labor without any problems.
How we knew she had had pups was Mom came home and Blackie was out in the kennel barking up a storm. (Me and my older brother were at school.) Mom went out to go see what was the matter and Behold! Puppies!! (10 of them to be exact.) We moved Brownie into the garage and we found homes for all 10 of the puppies. (Rose stayed with us! ) We had all of the pups dewormed when they were old enough. (Not fun taking 10 puppies to the vet all at the same time! lol or giving them their meds at home!! lol )
