Exercise?

Do you exercise your dog(s) daily? I try to bring my girls out for about two hours each (Tippy I try to give more, about 2-5 hours, though its usually one hour of vigorous exercise or 2-3 of vigorous exercise).

My dogs are always running, everytime I take them out to potty they run..I go with them everytime to so I can watch them closely. We usually play football w/Dracs and Zeus and Mini chase him to try and steal the ball so that's the exercise they get. But I don't take them out for long periods unless it's spring or summer...

I try to give my dogs at least 1-2 hours of exercise every day. I take them on walks and runs every day, they run around in their fenced yard and play fetch, and they also go to the dog park about three or four times a week (it's really close to our house). They also play with each other.

Bulldogs are a bit different when it comes to this but yes, mine are given a daily workout as well.

My girls live indoors also. Although there is a dog kennel and sometimes they'll be outside for an hour or two, alone or with me, in the yard.

Yep, Dakota gets a twice daily workout.. I take him out in the yard and throw the ball for about 15 minutes or until he's panting pretty good, and then let him go inside and chew on something.. it's our routine.
Sometimes if he's being a little terror inside the house, I let him out in the yard to do his "zoomies" and let him back in when he comes to the door.
Ripley gets all the exercise he needs inside the house. I don't really formally exercise him.

well i just open the back door and brody rips out of here! its insane! he will run around our yard like 5 times before he goes, and i let him out quiet often! he just finished crate traing and sleeps with me! so he is never in the kennel unless we are gone for like more than 4 hours! but i run around and take him on walks, but not often he still needs his last set of shots in fact we are taking him monday! so after that its off to doggy agiltiy and long walks around the blocks!

Bailey gets about 3 hours of exercise a day and we go to the dog park a few times a week. If I didn't give her plenty of exercise she would drive me insane! She is so hyper I have to run the extra energy out of her. We go for a long walk/jog in the mornings and at night.

My girls are exercised 4-5 times a week. They are takin for a run on my skates (well atleast when I'm not sick!! ). They are allowed access the backyard for most of the day... we have actually been taking them to our local dog park to get a good run in! They've been loving it, and sleeping rest of the day!

You guys are so lucky....the nearest dog park is AT LEAST an hour away from me, and its not fun having three dogs whining at you the whole way. Besides, when we went there they had mean dogs (right girls?) . Or let me put it this way--young, annoying Labs that wouldn't leave MY Lab alone!

I wish they'd fence-in a part of the local park and put a few "introduction pens" inside and just make it a dog park--it'd be nice to just sit there and let them run with other dogs.

I am starting one of the girls in agility though....Colby has the personality, I think , but Tippy could get good, even though she'd rather take long walks for exercise....grr. We'll see.

There probably let out eight hours a day.. they get two ½ mile walks during the day and 2 mile walk at 6-7… during the day I let them out to run/ train.. so yeah, they get a lot of it.

Our dogs get a 45-60 min walk (2 mi) in the morning and then they are put back in there kennel till around 5:00pm and then I let Rose run around like a madman (she wears herself out pretty good) and I clip Blackie onto his retractible leash and we walk/jog/run around for about 15-30 min and then we play fetch.
I would try to exercise them more but they won't let me! I let them out of their kennel one time (on leash) and Blackie refused to walk! He wanted to go back to bed! lol
