Awww thanks all I'll be honest, this has been really difficult on the whole family and there are days when I'm just so depressed I find myself thinking about how bad this really is instead of staying positive but then someone like you comes along and not only makes me smile but brings me back to thinking more positive.

Your kind words mean the world to Ty and I.....thank you!

Your dedication to Ty and trying to get him well is an inspiration. So many people (not dog people, of course!) will put a dog down at the first sign of a disease and will not even think about trying to make it well. It is nice to see someone who will do anything to make their friend well. I sincerely hope that you are successful and that Ty will live to a ripe old age.

The day after tomorrow it will have been five months since my handsome man passed away. I've never been good at goodbyes, trying to pay tribute to Ty and others that I've lost in Paws To Remember is too painful but I just wanted to say that I miss you Ty and I love you.

Ohhh I'm all misty-eyed! I'm not good at goodbye's either, but he did live a good life even though the odds were against him right from the start. Bless you for going the extra mile for him.

He'll be happy to meet up with you again, I'm sure. Okay, gotta stop this stuff gets me really emotional as well. *hugs*

Life can be so cruel at times...I cry and tell him how much I love him until its done and then we both give kisses and hugs till next time.
Well ****. As i sit here bawling my eyes out my heart aches fro you and for your loss.
I knew that you had lost Ty however somehow I had missed this htread and I did notknow how you had lost him or when.
Sonja, I know there are no words we can say that will help you but as you have stated in the passed the well wishes and warm thoughts of this little online community have brought you comfort and while I am new I am confident in saying that we will always be here. Whishing you strength, giving you virtual hugs and keeping you and your family in our thoughts.

I've always felt that dogs are furry angels sent to earth to teach us how to love, learn, and have faith in each other.

I think I remember your story of the day Ty passed. He left this world as he came in, as a fighter and a winner. I'm so glad you had him for as long as you did, and on that last day, he got to hold his head high.

(((hugs Sonja)))

Now you've made me cry RBW. Thank you, yes my boy went out of this world very proud and very happy. It was my last gift to him and although I wish things could have been different I wouldn't trade those last few moments at the show for anything.

Tears all around, Sonja.

It's been a little over a year since I lost Mia.

Thank you for bringing this thread back up. I never got to know the whole story of what you guys went through.

Take care, and hugs again.
