I am glad the night sweats are a thing of the past. Unfortunately for me, they are just beginning. But I'm sure they're not from this addiction in my case, but rather from my age.....those and hot flashes. It can't be from this dogforumaholic problem, can it? Say it isn't so. |

I am seriously trying to make myself take a break from the computer anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks!!!
I see that some have mentioned they can't bear being away from their poochies....talk about not standing to be away from them--I feel SO BAD when I leave, even if its just to go out and get groceries or something!! I sit there going, "I'll see you later! I love you! Bye girls! I'll be back soon! I LOVE YOU!! Good girls! Good girls! GOOD GIRLS!! BYE!!! LOVE YOU!!!" And by the time I leave Tippy is staring at me like, "Are you leaving or are you staying?" And vacations are bad too.....week long trips are sooooo bad. I call back to talk to them, lol, see how they're doing, if they ate, if they've gotten enough water, exercise, etc.....and those that watch them are usually family members, or friends (one being a professional petsitter, that they LOVE). |

Gaddy, you are funny. That's what I did with my kids when I would leave them with someone while I went somewhere for the day. I'd go on and on how I'd not be gone long and that they'd have fun...bla bla bla and they'd be interested in a toy or something and glance up at me and back at what they were doing....like, "whatever....go if you're going. Are you sure you're all right?" LOL. Yup, it is hard to leave them for a long time. I'm going to Seattle for Thanksgiving and taking them all with me. A-h-h-h-h. So I'll have them around, but I might go into withdrawls from the forum. It will be a good exercise. LOL. |

Woe is me. once again I find my pitiful pathetic willpower subdued into perusing this site. I know I should be doing the correct thing what my conscious tells me and meander through the pornographic pages of the Internet.
I can't help myself, as soon as my children aren't looking I secretly spring onto this site. I'm drawn to it like a dog to a bone, it will be the ruin of me. ![]() Hey Carrie, How's Elli ? I haven't seen her write anything for a while, I hope she's well, tell her I asked about her. Thanks, Matt |

Oh, I will Matt. Thank you. Eli is fine....we all went for a nice walk together yesterday. Sarah's fine too. I wish she'd get on this board too. (Addicts love company) Maybe she is resisting the temptation that she has seen become the downfall of her autie.
I think your conscience is working just fine. Let's face it. There are addictions and then there are addictions. Dogforumaholics are still more healthy overall than most addicts of other types. Eh-hem...if you know what I mean. |
