Lost Pyr ...please help!
'Angel' was lost in St Lucie County Florida 3 days ago. She is a Great Pyrenees...2 and a half yrs old. Her Owner is frantic...please help if you can

I will say a prayer for ‘Angel’s’ safe return, since I am so far away and can’t help search for her. My heart goes out to her family.

Oh, I'm so sorry. What a nightmare for the poor owners. I do hope this turns out to have a happy ending. My thoughts and prayers are with them and the dog.

Since I live in Florida, around St Lucie (mom works up that way and we have friends around there) I will keep a look out. I may check our local shelter to see if she is there... sometimes dogs from other shelters are sent to the one near me due to overcrowding... Actually, hold on, let me check a shelter. I will post and let you know...

Thank you all for your help and support , however I just recieved the sad news that Angel was found dead late this afternoon ...hit by a car.

you had me worried for a second....
over a year ago my boss's aunt found a stray Pyr. She couldnt keep it and knew my boss wanted a Pyr badly. So she drove the dog up here to NY. Unfortunatly the dog didnt get along well with her two children. He was defensive of his food (being a stray he wanted his food) and the two kids were less them 2 at the time so they wanted to play with the food...that didnt mix. He didnt bite them but he got snappy, so I took the dog. To an apt that didnt allowe dogs, and she was a big girl for my little apt. My boss luckly found her a great home with a friend of the family who also just happened to be looking for another Pyr. now shes treated like a queen, with central air for the dogs, their own bedrooms, great food. I wished I coulda kept her but im glad she found a great home. I hope they find their dog, and soon. |
