Talking Official Global Paw Secret Santa 2006

Hi Everyone and welcome to the 2006 Global Paw Secret Santa.

Here’s how it works.
Everybody who wants to participate, send your name and address, via PM, to me, Cassiepeia, (by October 20th) and I'll match you up with a member and send you their name and address (via PM) in return (remember not to tell the person that you're their Secret Santa...they can't find out until they receive your gift ).
You will have a ‘cooling off’ period until November 1st in case you want to drop out.
After that date you are expected to send a gift to the person you were given (if you have any problems please PM me as early as possible and let me know).
Please come back to this thread and confirm you have sent your gift by the 1st of Dec. If you haven’t confirmed by then it will be assumed you didn’t send one.

Gifts should be no more than $10.
Please do not post your address in this thread and do not PM your address to any other member of staff. I'm the only one taking addresses.
When you receive your member's name, I trust that you will not release that information to any other members.

**If you participated last year there is no need to PM me your address again (unless you've moved). I still have them on file. Just let me know if you want to do it again.**

When you have your information, visit the member's profile, perhaps have a look at a few posts to see if they'll give you any clues as to what they might like.
It is also handy if all of you who'd like to participate, please add a message in this thread with a short list of your likes, dislikes, favourite colours etc.. That way your Secret Santa will have a little more help selecting a present.

Have fun and enjoy the process as much as the receiving of a gift from a fellow member. Please participate and enjoy! You never know, you might make a new friend.

**Important** We hope to have as big a group as we had last year, but in the (hopefully, unlikely) event that less than 8 people participate in the SS, it will be cancelled.
EDIT: We now officially have more than 8 people participating, so no need to worry about it being cancelled!

Disclaimer:

Under 18s, please make sure your parents are aware of your participation in this Secret Santa and respect their wishes if they do not want you to participate.

While we will never post personal information on the forum, by participating in this event your name and address will be released to one other member of this forum for the purpose of sending a gift and that by participating you do give Global Paw your permission to release that information. Global Paw is in no way liable or responsible for sending, purchasing or receipt of the gift.

Edit: I should also add that participants will be from all parts of the globe so you may not necessarily get someone from the same country as you. If you have a real problem posting overseas let me know straight away.

Cass, I've just PM'd you my details! This is all very exciting!

For the person who gets me:

I have 2 dogs, a JRT x called Harley who is 10 1/2 years old and a Chihuahua called Abby who is 6 years old.

I like the colour blue, I wouldn't mind like a tag or something for the dogs' collars (), I really like huskies..,
anything for the dogs would be great (but probably no food items cause those will be inspected at quarantine I bet).
I also like candles and all the bath/smelly stuff. Hmm, I hope that is helpful enough.

I have two dogs, jasmine and Violet.

Jasmine is a 2 year old rottweiler and Violet is almost a year old rescue mix (beagle boxer).

I love everything, food, candles, smelly stuff, stuff for my dogs.

I'm in as well, and I think I posted that on the other thread.

Ahh well, to make things a little easier (in case someone gets me who doesn't really know me, I haven't been that active latley)

I have 1 Shih Tzu, Gizmo. I love scented candles, flavoured coffee and tea (irish cream and Earl Grey respectivlely).

Please post lots of ideas so I have good things to go on for whoever I get! Don't be shy and don't think that you're going to look greedy! More ideas open up lots of possiblities!
