Some people shouldn't own dogs

I have this neighbor that lives about 1 mile down the road from me ( we live out in the farm property). They are very nice people, but they should not own dogs!.

They have two mix breeds of dogs, one is a boarder collie mix and the other is a Lab Mix. These two dogs know NO discipline at ALL!, im talking about no training, no manners, they can do whatever they want and please.

Well today i found out that boarder collie mix killed a kitten and guess what the owner did? shrugged his shoulders " That's just the wild dog in him, he acts like a coyote he goes after everything that runs from him." and i even told him what if that was someone's cat?!!!....of course he could care less if it belongs to someone or not.

Well later today we got around talking and he meantioned Casey, blah blah and i said i was going to take him into agility soon. He looked at me like i was wierd for "TRAINING" my own dog. I told him how Casey is the happiest when he has something to do. You know what the guy says? " Im glad mine are mix breeds so i don't have to do all that training stuff, they're not as anal as those purebreds"

apparently this guy thinks that his two dogs playing together all day long is enough exercise for them but yet he screams at the top of his lungs when his boarder collie mix goes chasing after a car that drives up the country road ( and these people drive FAST!!) of course i shot back with a " that's what happens when there is no training! your dog does not listen to YOU!!....


I didn't even bother to stick around long because the longer i stayed the more idiotic he sounds.

This guy spends 0 time with his dog yet i spend almost half of the day with Day with Casey playing fetch, going for walks, doing some basic training and priming him up for agility exercise. I feel bad for that boarder collie mix, i'd take that dog in a heart beat because that dog is clearly bored that he becomes destructive! the lab mix seems to do whatever too but not as high strung as the boarder collie mix.... I guess you can't fix stupid!

Agh! That'd irritate me too. I agree, he shouldn't own dogs. I feel bad for those too not getting what they need from the person who cares for them.
Why would anyone get a Border Collie mix if they weren't going to spend oodles of time with it? That just boggles my mind.

Hmmm! Wonder if being that stupid hurts at all? It really is unfortunate that he doesn't seem to think his dogs deserve love and attention and you are right ...he shouldn't own any dogs!

We have a nieghbor across the street who is just as dumb. 2 "Shelties" the size of my GSD. AKC registered no less. They are just about the meanest dogs I have seen! It schocks my family & I. We never seen vicious collies or shelties before. They are very dog aggresive. He thinks they just want to play. One time I watched as he went to check his mail. No leashes on the dogs. The bigger of the 2 did a head butt to a moving van. I thought, OMG! nope the dogs was not hurt. The dogs are still not leashed.

GAH!Things like this tick me off!

Why in the heck did he get dogs in the first place? Because he lives on farmland? Man,those poor dogs!They need love and attention and things to do,other then run about and play with eachother...especially the border collie mix.Does the man have any sheep or anything??? I am not sure if BC mixes are into herding as the the purebreds,but at least he would be doing something!

I know a few people that shouldn't have dogs too...
