You'll never guess... Jazz update!

Well, yesterday I received a call from Whisper's breeder. She still has one puppy to place from the litter, and she gets quite a few applications each week, but so far none are right for Daisy, the remaining girl. Well, she calls to tell me that one application sounds like a great family for Jazz. I say, "Great, Send them my way."
So, when I see my husband later I tell him, "Guess what. I think we may have someone coming to look at Jazz." And he gives me a very noncommital answer. I'm a bit puzzled, because I've been working very hard to not annoy him with having the 6 dogs... LOL!
Well, I ask him, with some hesitation, "Do you not want to place Jazz in a different home." And he says... "Well, we dont' have to!"

I swear... MEN!

So, what we have decided is that we will meet this family, and if they are absolutely perfect, then we may place Jazz with them, but otherwise. I think we've just gained another permanent pet!

Just wanted to let you all know... My hubby is really a huge softy!

Hope everything works out for the best. Use guys are much bigger softies then we let on, esp when it has time to wear away the shell

I'm actually kind of happy... Jazz loves being with my husband. We originally purchased Topper to replace our first Weim. That Weim, Trooper, was all my husband's dog. They doted on each other. Topper and my husband enjoy each other, but they never really built that same bond. Ao, I am actually really happy to see my husband in love with a Weim again. Of course, he couldn't fall in love with one of the competitive dogs.... LOL!! But, maybe, if they really bond, he'll start competing with her, which would be advantageous to all of us.

Just rambling this AM, aren't I?!

That's great!!

I really hope you do keep her. We all saw her grow up here on GP, and I know personally, I'd love to keep seeing her and the gang together! If these people do fit the bill, and end up taking Jazz home, I hope you tell them about GP and persuade them to join, so we can continue to watch Jazz growing up and hear how she's doing.

I have the same type of bond with Ruby, so I'm honestly rooting for you guys to keep Jazz no matter what.

Novel you'll never guess what!!! Wayne asked me to day if he could go to Vegas for softball and I told him only if I can have Winston.... Hee hee hee... I put in an application for him this evening!!!!

Kinda excited about this!

Oh this is a little off topic...well kinda...I was browsing the paper today and someone is giving away a free,7 yr old female weim!

Thats crazy!Weims are not common in NL.Anyway the ad claimed she was a retired champion.

Hm... Sometimes people do things out of desperation.

I wonder if they plan on spaying her before they give her away.. probably not since theyre giving her away. It's too bad, that opens her up to a possibly horrible future.

All guys turn to mush when you really hit their soft spot

That happened with Kelso. Steven (the BF) felt it wasn't such a good idea to get another dog so soon after Sarge, but he quickly fell in love with that booger brain and now they are the best of friends.

I am coming to see Julie the first weekend in November, let me know if I can help with transportation for Winston. I am sure I can meet his fosters on my way if they want and pick him up somewhere.
