time to catch up..a little long

hey all! Well, I got my new girl from the SPCA a week ago. (digital camera not working

). We named her Daisey. I tested a few names on her and I called her Daisey and she looked at me and came running over. I guess that might have been her name before. She is fitting in quite well. She walked into the house the first day, smeeled absolutely every square inch and wandered backe into the living room and up on the couch she went

(not the designated dog futon btw).

She is the absolute most sweetest honey bun of a dog. Very dainty and polite. Very Unlike Mr. pushy pants. aka Shamous. They are starting to bond. He loves her and she thinks he's a big annoying dork. She has taken off and snapped and chased him more than once ( she's 70lbs lighter too!) becasue he was being a jerk. Thankfully she's older and has had a little of puppies, so she's used to putting pup's in their rightful place. I have caught them snuggling on the front porch and playing on their own outside.

She's very quiet, laid back, listens very well, house broken. Yippeee! Although, we did find out she absolutely cannot be crated. I put her in a crate for about and 1 1/2, when I came back her: blanket looked like swiss cheese and she actually pulled on the bars of her crate so hard she BENT them.

Poor baby. So out she stays when we are gone. Shamous I just tell to go to jail and he happily runs in and sleeps away the afternoon.
