Duke is a red Doberman- there's the Red
And he's a really handsome dude- so there's the Hot!

And it all fits together rather nicely (but not in that order).

Coldnose, we have Indian names for our family too. My cat Hooligan is Little Thief and Bailey is Runs Into Walls. My long haired cat is called Sir-Barfs-Alot as a goofy nickname. When I was a kid my Mom called me Little Dancing Bear.

I've been online for 11 years (with AOL). And for about half those years, I was Whystler. But then.. I wanted folks to know what I loved so much, so I figure Pugdawg gets the point across. Pugdawg was already taken on AOL, so I switched to Pugdawg1 and use that for the forums I am on as well.

How could anyone be offended???? I don't get it. Native American names are cool. They usually have some meaning behind them. My breeder asked me to choose for Lyric's registered name something that would look Native American. That was her theme for this litter. So, I had already decided on Lyric for his call name and I chose Lyrical Rain Dancer for his registered name. LOL.

Anyhow, how I came up with my username? Hmmmmm......let's see. That was a tough one. It's my name....well, my nickname. LOL. Boring. I've used my daughter's name on other forums and I used Dobegirl on one forum. Here, I decided to just use my own name and keep it simple.

I'm just used to being on the defensive, because where I grew up, there was a fairly large Native American population, and they seemed to get easily offended by things they perceived to be making fun of their culture. So, that is why I said what I did. I just did not want anyone who may be Native American to be offended by my posts is all.

. Usually I am gaddymep9, but I tried that on the DF boards, didn't work they had some problems so I did gaddylovesdogs. When I joined GP I figured its a dog board, the DF/GP members know as gld, so I'll keep it that way here.
