Who knew!

Today I decided to spoil myself and buy a nice herbal tea to help me relax. So when I got home I boiled up some water and made myself a pot...as I was waiting for it to be ready I decided to read the herbal content, you know peppermint, ginger, lemon grass and "catnip" .
I've been chuckling all afternoon and told my husband ( when he came home) about it and said that if I should start purring during the night not to be too surprised

Cool

YUCK!!! now I know why I don't drink tea. By any chance do you like to chase mice now? I seem to have a problem around the house with mice in the winter. Maybe I should start feeding the hubby some of that herbal tea maybe that would get rid of the mice

AHAHA! Wow that's too funny! I LOVE tea.. It's the only way I can really drink something that's good for me (I don't drink enough water --- I'm BAD about soda ) But if there's tea around, you can't give me enough of it!

You got me wondering "why" catnip was put in the tea. Herbal tea is to relax you, and catnip is to stimulate. Kind of crazy huh! Well how did you feel after drinking it? Were you ready to snore or purr?

Peppermint, ginger and lemon grass are all "uppers" as far as herbals go. Just becuase it is herbal does not mean it is to relax. There are many varieties that have different properties: Some help you to relax, some help to pep you up with out caffine, some help regulate your digestion. It all depends on what is in it.

Darned if I know but it is supposed to be a "Tension releaser". Oh well, just the laugh I got from the catnip released plenty of tension!
