Greyhound!!

I haven't put my application in yet, but I'm 99.9% sure of what group I'm going with, and everything else is in order. I've started a blog to document the process, so if you're interested here's the link: http://gonnabeagreymom.greatestjournal.com/

OH that is wonderful.

As a former Grey owner, you cannot imagine the wonderful temperament of this breed. They are just wonderful. I hope you have lots of room for him/her to run, just so you can let it off leash and experience up close the grace , beauty and astounding speed the have.

If it's a retired racer, be sure you get all the papers and serial (tatoo) #(1/2 in one ear, 1/2 in the other) so you can look up lineage and race history

Fancy- I'm still trying to figure where he'll/she'll have lots of room to run. We have a teeny backyard for my Yorkie and Chi mix to potty and play in, and the Grey probably won't even be allowed to go out alone due to fence height. I went to scan the local park (it's literally 2-5 minutes from my house) to see if their fence was sturdy, but there was some stuff going on there (emergency vehicles, and then a creepy man showed up), so I opted not to get out of the car. Will go walk it and see soon. :-)

Hehe, yes that was me KennelMom! I'm hoping and praying my books arrive tomorrow in the mail.

Thanks for your congrats everyone! I'm starting to get frustrated with the wait (it would be fine if I'd actually put the application in!), but such is life. It'll all come together soon.

Oh and KennelMom,maybe you can help me?I tried signing up in Greytalk.I was a member there for awhile and then lost internet access.When I finally got it again,I tried logging in...but my account was expired.Now I suddenly cannot even sign up with a new user name or anything!I tried emailing the admin and a couple mods,but no one got back to me...

If you are trying to register with a free email address like yahoo, gmail or hotmail you won't be able to. It has to be an email address you've paid for (like ones you get when you purchase an internet connection). Aol address won't work either b/c they give away free email addresses.
