Update on my crew....

Ok, just a quick update on my "pack"....

Spatz is recovering nicely from her spay, and is being adopted by my sister in 2 weeks

Elite and Max are finally accepting Boscoe. He is trying his best to learn our routine, and be settled when not in his crate. He is 2 years old, and his previous owner never let him out except to potty. So now his hips are really bad, and he is like an 8 week old puppy in a huge body. But he is learning. He stays glued to me where ever I am, and is actually starting to show some protection of the house. He "woofs" when a truck goes by, or if he sees the cows....its too cute when his cheeks puff out..lol

Carlo is doing great. He is riding in the "big rig" with my husband, and they are bonded so tight I don't think you could pry them apart with a crobar. They are both working on their obedience skills, and the hubby will call and ask for tips or solutions. He wants to compete with Carlo, so they are working hard when they can. Carlo has also decided that I'm a pretty cool person, and has fit nicely into the house routine when he is home.

The only problem is while Carlo is home, either he or Boscoe has to be in a crate, behind closed doors. It will be like that even when I get Boscoe neutered. Carlo hates Rotts, regardless of their gender. So we rotate them whil they are home.

So, things are busy here, but we are having fun and staying warm!

I didn't know Spatz was going to your sister. It will make it easier for you though, won't it? Or will it be hard to let Spatz go.

I think Carlo and the DH will be excellent competitors. Good Luck to them and you in everything!

Hooray BDL, Glad things are settleing into a routine.

I was worried about Spatz spay, so I am glad that it went so well. I hope your sister still brings her to visit you.

Boscoe sounds like a normal happy rottweiller. All of ours have been shadows and just want to be with their "people". So it is good that Max and Elite have decided to accept their new brother.

Interesting about Carlo. Hates rotts huh? He is one strange boy....with all his curious issues.......LOL.

Novel.....I TOLD you I was busy!! LOLOL And I agree, they will be excellent competitors. And yes, it will be hard to let her go (spatz) but I have known about her going to my sis since July. I told the sis that she cill get free grooming for life, and at least twice a month she will bring Spatz here for playdates
