Sounds like you've had a fun couple of weeks!
Great photos, it's so lovely to see where you live. Your niece is so cute! Seems like she'd fit right in with all the chores. Is that a bison in the last photo? Wow! I'd be freaking if I came across that! |

yup that little bugger is my niece!!!
She loves horses and she loves dogs... Kessy is the greatest for her since Lara is born (she had to come on most of opur walks), and then comes Herkules... he is my nanny for riding, he is so darn paitent... and yes she fits right in, she has a lot from me... may sister says and i have to admit, i see some traits in her i know i have- if they are good or bad i will not tell!!! From the little ones she loves Aika, they play nice together... Yes this is a Bison, in that pic, we climbed up Elk mountain in the wildliferefuge and this bull was standing all alone up there, it was awsome, maybe 50 meters away from us. but he didn't bother!!! |

Oh yeah, we all had a great time...
the dogs were worn out most of the time, they had to watch now six people in the house and this is hard work, they all might miss something, plus my niece was their 1-0-1 teacher for new tricks... that is exhausing for all involved i tell ya ;o) IOt was just so nice to see, you never knew who watched who! We were a little worried how my niece would take three large dogs, Kessy she knew and is dearly loved, but three of them... well she knew these are Kessys babies and in the last pics they looked small, but she appearently undrstood that dogs grow faster and babys can be big with one year! but she wasn't one bit insecure when the little ones came out, she even opened the door from the porch so they could come in, had them there so the greetingcomitee could cool of a little! you know kids and animals are just so much fun to watch, plus i am amazed how respectfull my niece treats all the animals, this is so seldomly seen in little kids, heck sometimes not in older ones! She even has a feeling when it is enough for the dogs! This was so awsome. of course my Dad was well known with Kessy, too because he feeds her from the table. Back in Germany she had him/or he had her trained everytime she came up they went to the fridge to get a goody! she rememered that!!! and he spoild the little ones, too! I will get some more pics soon... |
