Straight A's!
CREATIVE WRITING A
COMPUTER AIDED DRA A ENGLISH 11 A SPANISH III A CHEMISTRY A ALGEBRA II A- Okay, so there is one A- in there, but this is my first time ever even getting close to straight A's. Before I just never applied myself. I never did my homework or projects, but were able to pass the classes with As, Bs, and Cs just by getting straight As on all the tests(without studying.. ha! I was just too lazy to study). But, this year I am now doing every bit of my homework and putting a lot of work into it, not just doing it to do it. School starts at 8 30 am, but I am usually there by 7 45 in my Alg 2 teacher's room doing my Alg. 2 homework. (Home is too distracting.. gets me easily frustrated and I don't work as well, so I just do all of my Alg homework at school.) And often I stay till at least 4 everyday afterschool doing more homework. I've even stayed as late as 5 pm, but admittedly, it was more because I kept on talking and talking to the teachers. I'm proud of myself. Not only just for the good grades, but because of what these grades mean. I've worked hard to change myself.. and though I still fail often, these grades have to mean something. Definitely a bit of encouragement in my much longer journey of growing and changing into the person I want to be. |

Tessa you are remarkable! That you would be so self-disciplined and apply yourself to do better just for the knowledge that you can change yourself--you are amazing! Many, many congrats on your straight A's, and on your self-discipline and hard work! That is inspirational.
![]() You go girl! Keep up the good work, it will pay off! ![]() |

Thankyou, but all glory goes to God. And of course, the wonderful people He has blessed me with to help me on my way. I would have given up about the fourth week of school if it hadn't been for my Alg 2 teacher. She is an amazing person, always encouraging, and yet always demanding your best.. I am certainly blessed.
