Wellness is for all dogs, large or small. They have a senior formula and a puppy formula--great food!

ol roy is actually one of the worst, quality and ingredient wise, of all the dog foods.

i also wouldnt feed science diet, etc.

personally, if one must feed dog foods, i would opt for any of the natura pet products (innova, EVO, cal nat, karma), canidae, solid gold, eagle pack, azmira, etc.

Oh right! Solid Gold- that's it! I knew I was forgetting a brand... I'll probably buy Solid Gold Hund-n-Flocken if we switch to SG.

I dont Kno if its the best, but Brody is on the Purina Beneful, he loves it, and he has sensitive teeth, and its pretty chewy, i am not sure if its the best, but they have like no Science Diet or anything so all the food they have has Chicken by products, which i learned on here aren't the best for the dogs..... but Brody rele seems to like it

Mine were on Beta but I just got Burns today because it contains natural products and is good for dogs with bad skin. Which Hoofa definitely has a problem with.

I prefer Canidae or Innova, although there are a lot of other good foods out there. I usually like to give a variety of kibbles but I went ahead and bought the BIG bag of Innova, and having them on half raw/half kibble is making this bag go verrrry slowly. So, once I'm done with this one, I'm going to try something new. It can't hurt to change their food every once in a while and Ripley especially likes variety.
