Nope she isn't. I wish she was though! lol I can't remember what rescue website I was on but she is up for adoption somewhere. (Maybe Alabama or something?) I thought she was really cute so I put her in my avatar. From what they were saying about her I can't see why somebody would get rid of her.
I'm going to try to take a picture of Rose and Blackie to put in my avatar with my mom's palm poilet but I have no idea how to! lol

What are some of your favorite games?
Hmmmm.........I don't really know! lol I play some of Wesley and JeanAnnes games (they are nine) and I also play some of Jacob's (he's 15.) I like Rachet&Clank, and I there is this game that my cousin has that is called Fianal Fantasy (I think that's what it's called anyway ) that looked really good. I also like the Donkey Kong games! lol Oh, and I also like Spyro but it makes me motion sickness when I play it. (Same with Rachet&Clank, and the James Bond video games.)

About the Chow in my Avatar

Ok, I just found the website agian. It is www.chowrescuenva.com and the Chow in my avatar is an 8yr old female named Ebony. The reason for the 'dumping' was, "My childern are bored with her and they are to lazy to walk her and she needs a fenced in yard." (OMG stupid people!!!!! ) She was a 'mail order' dog too. She loves to play and isn't nippy with people or dogs and isn't afraid of thunderstroms. I think the rescue orginization covers Georgia maybe? I'll have to go look agian......

Haha! I like Halo also.. I was playing the new one Halo 2 with my boyfriend the other day. I'm not the best at it yet but it's fun My boyfriend was teaching me how to play Unreal Tournament the other day.. that's a REALLY popular game.
I like to play Crash Bandicoot, Sonic, etc. Anything fun...

I heard about that game on the news.. that's just so wrong. I think the company should be penalized for putting a game out like that. ESPECIALLY releasing it on JFK day..

Jeez...read a book...people waste too much time playing games...they have no point.

Funny, used to be that if you wanted to learn about JFK, you read a book about him, not practiced shooting him...I really don't like pop-culture.

The point is that they help you to relax, and although shooting an alien may not be as satisfactory as shooting your boss it makes a good alternative.

I do read books. Actually, I hardly ever play video games. Most of the time I'm reading. My favorite books are the Left Behind series, the Harry Potter books, and any other mystery book, or books that make you go, "Oh my gosh!! What is going to happen next!!!" lol I've just got done re-reading my 5th Harry Potter book for about the 10th time. lol

LOL they do that or make you even more mad. (Like pinball for example. lol that frusterates me to no end. ) Although that quote does ring true because if I am just really mad I will play a video game and whoop the bad guys butts off and that makes me feel better . lol

I love to read too...mostly sci-fi and fantasy. Reading Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson. ...and am finishing up with A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin, again. The last Harry Potter book will be next.

Well that game just sounds awful. Who would buy it.
I personally like shooting games. I don't think of it as "Oh cool, I just killed that real person and now his brains are spilling onto the floor!". It's just a game. But, if you can't think of it as a game and relate it to what you would like to do real life, (without joking) then yeah you probably shouldn't be playing it.

Ritz, I like Halo as well. It's one of my favorite shooters. Trying to get Halo 2 but I seriously cannot find it anywhere, stores are still sold out around here. I think I'm going to have to look to eBay if I want to get it before the new year. There are so many games I want right now.. Actually a game that I'm looking into is the sims 2. I got hooked on the sims a while back.
Final fantasy.. I haven't played that in YEARS. Actually the last time I played FF on a game console was on my brother's NES when I was about 5 or 6.

Oh yeah, and Quincy - Books are great, but they don't improve your reflexes like games do. I also love reading, I'm a science fiction nut, but I like fantasy as well.. I read enough books for school, though, so unless it's a really good book, I probably would rather curl up on the couch with my XBox controller.

I'm with ya on that one. I get waaaayyy too tired... I read like 2 pages and I fall asleep. I just don't really find it interesting.

Like now, I have to read a book for English... "A Seperate Peace"
That's about the only time I'm reading unless it's a doggy magazine or book

My opinion.

I agree that music and games does not cause people to shoot and kill people. I think it has ALOT to do with their up-bringing and mental state of mind, etc. I don’t like or agree with everything that is out there today so therefore, I chose to not listen, play or watch it.
I am an adult and I too play (on a rare occasion) x-box. I play games such as Splinter Cell that has blood in it. It’s just for fun. But do I think making a video game that re-enacts one of our presidents getting shot and you are the shooter is taking it to far? To be honest… I really don’t know the answer. No, I don’t like it, nor would I buy it or play it. So let me ask you this. Then why not go after movies, TV shows and music videos for always-related things towards sex or violence? Production companies’ etc. will make anything that gets your attention to get you to buy or watch it, and as long as people buy or see it they will continue to take it further.
Everyone is responsible for his or her own actions and everyone has their own choice, it is up to that person to hopefully make the right one.
I agree, people don’t read books as much but society and technology is part of the reason, people become to lazy to use the greatest tool of all…’our minds”. There is nothing like reading a book and using our minds. Or for some playing a game.
Please remember this is just MY OPINION. I am not judging anyone. Just wanted to share (hope you don’t get mad).

I agree with animallover. I wouldn't buy that game but I also don't think a sane person would think it is OK to shoot a president in reality because they did it in a game. If they do, then there is something wrong with them. JMO.
