JFK Reloaded

This is one game that will NOT enter my house!! The fact they are releasing it today is disrespectful in itself.

Glasgow, Scotland -- A British company said Sunday it was releasing a video game recreating the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

David Smith, a spokesman for the president's brother, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., called the game "despicable."

The Glasgow-based firm Traffic said "JFK Reloaded" was an educational "docu-game" that would help disprove conspiracy theories about Kennedy's death. The game is due to be released today, the 41st anniversary of the shooting in Dallas.

Traffic said the game challenged players to re-create the three shots fired at the president's car by assassin Lee Harvey Oswald from the Texas School Book Depository.

Traffic's managing director, Kirk Ewing, said the game -- available as an Internet download for $9.99 -- would "stimulate a younger generation of players to take an interest in this fascinating episode of American history."

That is so stupid!! That's just encouraging people to kill!!

I saw a game a week or two ago where you join gangs, shoot cops, and injure women--the company says their only selling it to those 19 and above, but who knows who those people will let play the game? They could let their 10 year old cousin play for all they know!

Yep...that is stupid. I like the Halo(sp?) game but you are only shooting Aliens so it's not to bad.

Personally, I love video games. But this one just sounds sick.

Although, I must say...I don't see how it could encourage anyone to go out and kill people. You can't blame video games or music or anything else for that matter when someone goes out and kills people. There was something wrong with that person in the first place, they didn't just all of a sudden play a game or listen/ watch a video and decide to go out and kill someone.

Yah......I like video games too. The games I play though have to have a plot or I don't think they are interesting. I exspecialy like Fantasy books and games! lol 'cause then anything can happen! lol

Oh, and I also like games that you have to have a srategy in. Those are fun too! They make you think. (Although, sometimes that's not to good. lol

I play some games.. NOLF is really the only one with "shooting" in it. You can't blame a game for that.. .something is not right in the persons head that shoots someone else it real life.
