I say go for it! Older/younger.....whatever.....if you like him you like him, the age shouldn't be an issue.

It shouldn't really be an issue...I don't know how old you are, but age has never been an issue with me. I'm 7 years older than Rus, but most people would never know unless we told them.

Personally, I think it depends on your age. There seems to me to be a difference between being 34 and dating 30 year old and being 24 dating a 20 year old. In my 20's I never would have dated anyone younger than me. Now, being in my 30's (EEK!) I would be more likely too (well, if I weren't already married, of course!).

My husband is four years older than I am....though (sexist as it is) I think it's different for a man than a woman to date someone younger.

well i really don't care!!!
If you two get along, who cares!!!!

If i would be 20 the chances would be slim for me to date a younger one, because they mature a lot slower and i can't have a "child" arround. of course there are exceptions.
beeing 28 right now- it would be different, because there are quite some responsible 24 year olds out there.

so to say, it really depends if you are ok with him, age does not matter!!!

Women tend to live longer than men do, so it would be smarter for women to marry younger men, they would likely have more years together.

It depends on how mature the person is. I've seen 50 year old behave like a 2 year old, and I've seen 20 year olds act like old souls who are devoted and responsible. You have to look at the person, not the age.

Nothing wrong with that, RL...if he makes you happy and vice versa, then go for it! Best of luck to you!!

Yep, I agree. I think it depends on maturity, not age! I'd say go for it.

I don't think that's a bad age range either - he sounds like a great guy - go for it!

It's not really the age that counts , as long as he is mature enough and good to you. Don't judge a book by it's cover, jmo

I agree, if you get along 4 yrs is nothing! If he makes you happy don't let the fact that he is younger stop you from giving the relationship a chance to blossom.

If it helps at all I am 32 and my husband is 27. We have been together for going on 6 years now.
I struggled with it at first too, "I thought hmmmm this may be fun...."
Never in a million years did I think he would become my best friend or that we would get married on a beach and have a baby boy together.
I say go for it, it's just a date. Never know where things will end up or just end. There is however only one way to find out!
