UPDATE on Pitt Bull attack, parents charged!

Both parents have been charged with housing a dangerous dog and if convicted they could serve 3 yrs in prison and be fined $500.00. the dog will be held in animal control until after the trial then after the trial they have decided it will be up to the judge what happens to the dog...

OMG! dear GOd plz let the control center change that dog! i rele hope that somehow the dog changes!

my knowledge of the facts is limited, but wouldn't it be hard to charge them with owning a dangerous dog, if the dog has never shown these characteristics before?? I may be wrong, but I thought it said the vet and neighbors were all suprised by these actions because it was well behaved before. Don't get me wrong, I think anytime you don't control your pet and it gets out you should be held responsible, but from the limited info I have I think they'd have a tough time getting the "housing a dangerous dog" conviction.

I dunno, all I know of the story is from what the news is reporting...I guess maybe the VET can testify for the parents?...
